I usually stay in a hotel around the bay, and have done for the past 10 years of visiting the island, but this year that hotel got greedy and more than doubled their prices, so I went on a search for alternative hotels and found this gem. ||By looking online the rooms, look and feel of the place was very similar to the hotel I usually stay at, but was half the price.||Only difference is no fridge in the room, which I knew in advance so got a cool box and just topped it up with ice each day from the shop across the road for €1 (so all in my makeshift fridge for the week cost me €17) saving me more than €500 compared to what it woulda cost in the other hotel. ||The rooms are basic, but I don’t goto Ibiza for luxury hotels, I want somewhere clean to put my head down to get some rest, and a pool area to recover from the night before, and this place delivered. ||Only downside was the pool only got about 4 hours of sun during the day due to the shadows of the surrounding buildings, but that didn’t really bother me as after a few hours I’m usually looking for some shade and a dip in the pool to cool down. ||Pool was never really busy, was only one day I failed to get a sunbed. ||The location is ideal, about 10 minutes from the west end, the bus station and the sunset strip. There’s a huge supermarket about 5 minutes walk away. ||The neighbouring hotel is quite rowdy, but this one is fairly quiet (you can hear a lot that goes on out in the hall due to the marble floors echoing everything but that’s no big deal. I always take ear plugs with me to hotels anyway so I slept a quite well without any disturbance. ||The staff are very friendly and helpful, and my room was ready for me when I landed about 11am (check in time isn’t until 3, but its well worth contacting the hotel before hand to say what time you are arriving to see if they can accommodate you) even if they can’t, they will happily let you use the facilities until your room is ready. ||Would I stay here again? YES!
