Hostal Illes Pitiüses

Cheap solution in Formentera, simple, clean, and practical. Great position in San Ferran, easy to access even by bike from La Savina. Recommended.

Very lovely small place in Sant Ferran. Location is key as it is very near every spot in the island. Rooms are a bit old but beds are comfortable, so is the bathroom and it's very clean and it has AC and TV and shampoo/conditioner/gel. It is 2 floors only by stairs not a problem unless you have any physical difficulties. There's free parking exclusive for hotel guests shared with the bar downstairs so depending the hours it is super packed but we were able to leave the car there every time with no issues. There are also markets, bars, shopping stores in the street, a great place for breakfast just cross the street. In sum, a great choice for a few days in Formentera.

Given its barycentric position with rispect to the island, this hostel is an optimal choice if you're interested in visiting all beauty of Formentera. Even if our room was in front of the main road, we spent a quiet night, room furnishing were a bit dated, but the room was big and contained everything you need, finally the person which takes care of checkin and checkout was nice and helpful. A possible negative is the absence of breakfast, but there are some bars near the hostel

Very nice hotel in the center of a small alive town (bars, restaurant, commodity around) Very charming. Rooms are spacious, clean and luminous. Bed are quite hard 😂but for 2 or 3 days it's okay. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Go for it!!!

This hotel is in the centre of the island so nowhere is too far away. You will need your own transport e.g. scooter (€21 per day) (remember to bring your driving licence) to get to beaches and other towns but this town has an excellent pizza restaurant, Macondos (try their mojitos - delicious!) so it's not necessary to travel every night. ||||The room was simple but just what we needed. The furniture was a bit old and tatty but the beds were comfy. Air conditioning works well. Shower was great. ||||Balcony was small and only good for drying togs etc. In any event you probably would not wish to sit out as the junction outside is the busiest on the island and is manned by a cop with a whistle! (Windows and a/c keep most noise out of room.)||||Try the bar across the road for delicious coffee. The breakfast in the hotel is adequate but the coffee is awful. Unlimited OJ was appreciated though. ||||The lady who runs this hostel is very nice and extremely helpful. She and her colleagues were always happy to phone restaurants, taxis etc.||||There is a very nice terrace out the back where you can enjoy a few beers as the sun sets. ||||Would certainly go back if going back to the island. We paid €115 for the room.

It is so refreshing to stay at a place that has a local and genuine feeling. The facilities are spartan but all that is necessary is there; hot water, spaciousness, clean sheets and friendly service. The restaurant seems to be the centre of all social happenings in this part of the island with the oldies playing chess while the young ones dress up and parade in their central glory. This place epitomises the whole island - simple, honest, natural and not overcommercialised or touristy. I came here in 1970 and I am so surprised that it has kept this wholesome innocence after all this time. What an amazing lost paradise, I hope they and we keep it this way.

The structure is a little bit old, but the price was one of the best in Formentera considering it's really expensive. The position is very good, near pladja de Migjorn and San Francisco. The rooms are simple, and you have to check in before 21:00 because after this there is no reception. We arrived late, but on the reception door there was a message informing us which room is ours. So no problems. We had a problem with Air conditions but they were very kind. They fixed the problem in 1 day and in the meantime they gave us a different room. A nice things, last day they told us we can go on the other structure near the port and get a shower and use the swimming pool. It was a very kind decision after a full day at the sea

We stayed a week with a toddler. The travel cot was comfy, clean & all bedding provided. The maid service was exceptional with fresh linen and towels through out the week. air conditioning was welcomed. Hostal also provided shanpoo and shower gel therefore something you dont need to take The restaurant underneath was friendly and made a fuss of our toddler. Great high chairs as well
