Hotel La Cúpula

Definitely stay here! There’s heating and hot water, and the views are lovely. The room had a kettle with tea and coffee, as well as towels, soap, and shampoo — even proper thick toilet paper! Daily cleaning was provided. There’s also a laundry service. Breakfast was included, though it could be improved. The on-site restaurant is nice, and they serve a good cappuccino. There’s a sunny terrace and a garden area with hammocks and baby alpacas. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I even got a free late check-out until 1:30 pm. Great location and excellent value for money.

The hotel is well located on the hill side. We had a small bungalow which was well decorated, with a great view. The fire pit and blankets were welcome during the cold nights. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. The room sometimes smelt of eggs, perhaps a sewage or drainage issue. I also sense that I had food poisoning from our dinner in the restaurant which meant I was very ill the next day, which isn't pleasant at high altitude.

In general, this is a decent hotel. Unfortunately, they say that their Junior Suite (room 7) has lake view, which is not true because you are looking at big trees in front of the windows. Also the Wifi does not work in the room and their only reply was that it‘s not possible with iPhones, which was just a cheap excuse. Besides that, the hotel area is nice and perfectly located. We got good recommendations for isla del sol.

It is a very lovely hotel, our room was shaped like an old-styled stone kiln, a gigantic pizza oven. It was warm during the night even when the outside almost reached 0. It got nice view as well; though it was just a bit difficult to walk with this high altitude, but once you were used to it, you would love to stay here. A llama park was nearby, it was really small with two cute llamas only.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an incredible view of Lake Titicaca, very friendly and helpful owner and great restaurant. We stayed here 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The design of the rooms were cozy and homey. The alpacas that were roaming around were fun to observe. They also had a few very cute kittens that roamed the grounds. The restaurant was so good that we had a hard time finding an excuse to walk down into town in the evenings as well. All in all a perfect spot to unwind and take in the impressive lake Titicaca.

We spend a night at La cúpula. Beautiful hotel. Awesome Room and good ubication for walk to restaurants. In the Room the hotel provides you with coffe and tea. That's cool. Also have a mini kitchen for simple cooks. I really reccomend go to copacabana. Fresh Air without smoke.

The hotel was a dream. The rooms, the restaurant … the VIEW! Had a blast. And let’s not forget to mention the team that was amazing. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at la cupula! Great service from the start at checking in and until checkout. Staff is incredibly helpful and service oriented. Very clean and substantial accommodations. Great location, easy walk to everywhere you’ll want to go, and quiet at night. Loved the hot water bottles to use in the cold night to keep feet warm. The hotel is very safe and secure, and very reasonable price. Plenty of hot water in shower and sink. Restaurant on site is exceptional. Great quality, quantity, and great sanitation. The meals here settled our stomachs. Love the two alpaca on ground keeping the grass mowed! Highly recommend!
