Hostal La Janda

What a great place! I would give it 10 stars if I could. We visited several hotels including a 4star hotel on our tour through southern Spain but this was the best by far. Excellent! The staff is great. The tapas in the restaurant were great but most of all the super clean, spacious and very well decorated rooms and bathrooms. The whole of the building is inviting, clean and close to parking I hope to come back in the future!

Cosy place. Great people running it and close to all services. We had a big room with a balcony and a view and our dog was most welcome. We’ll surely choose the same place again if we ever go back to beautiful Vejer. My husband and child loved it too.

Great stay. Easy check-in. Victor was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We ere given plenty of information on how to best explore the city and even on our next destination. The room, as well as the bathroom weres super clean and comfortable. There was free parking nearby and the location was perfect to visit Vejer.

Parking is very difficult in Vejer. |Really well located - in the new town where there are great, reasonably priced cafés but 5 minutes from the old town and the touristy places. |Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Vejer. |

Great room, comfy bed and daily cleaning but the WIFI didn't work at all and as we went as a school trip our breakfast consisted of some local bread with jam or pate and a mug of ColaCau. I would definitely recommend but make sure you have lots of data on your phone. Also a really good churros place just across the road!

Have stayed 3 times now. This lovely hostel, at the top of San Ambrosio Street, leads you straight into the Old Town in under 3 minutes walk, location is excellent for exploring this amazing historic town. Always a warm welcome from this family run hostal. Rooms are in good condition, kept very clean and a good size. Large windows, flat screen TVs. & AC. Practical ensuite bathrooms with good showers. Excellent daily cleaning. They offer good value for price. You really can't go wrong staying here if luxury is not your priority, but comfort and value is. No breakfast available, but there are literally numerous nice places on adjacent high street, Calle Andalusia, including a Churreria for delicious Churros directly opposite! Parking generally easy too, behind the medical centre also opposite, 2 mins walk & free. Top marks, gracias.

I was surprised how good this place turn out to be. Clean, cozy and comfortable. Very friendly, responsive and helpful staff. Slightly off the centre of Vejer, but it’s actually a positive point to me. Definitely a value for money.

A well located hotel a short walk from the heart of the town. We stayed for two nights and the hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable and has the added bonus of its own car park. Staff were welcoming and friendlyBreakfast is taken in a cafe next door to the hotel.
