The good location is not worth the terribly unprofessional behavior of the reception and "management" reps. The good service of the cleaning staff cannot compensate for the musty-smelling bedrooms with leaky bathtubs, nor for the dated and worn facilities.

Bright, clean rooms with comfy beds, staff were friendly, everything worked, good location. Yes the sound insulation could be a bit better, but for the price it was just what I wanted... I can sleep through anything so noise doesn't bother me but, saying that, I didn't hear anything. I'd definitely stay here again.

We spent 1 night in Santander and found this hostel quite perfect: good value for money, perfect position to stroll around the city center, 24h reception. The room was quite basic but clean. Being 4 they gave us 2 rooms, just one with the bathroom with a door between the 2 rooms. They should have specified us not to close the door, in fact once closed it was impossible to open it again!

The only nice thing here is the location and the staff. Every other thing is zero!!! Disliked 1.Mosquito infested rooms 2.Couldn’t sleep at night. Extremely noisy. You can hear all the cars on the road, all the chats from nearby rooms. 3.Extremely overpriced rooms, totally not worth the price of about €120 a night. Jeez! False vintage. This is one of my worst hotel experience. 4. Zero amenities in the rooms. No soap or shampoo or other basics. 5. No English-speaking channels on tv 6. Breakfast is plain bread and tea and the fruits were visibly rotten. I took pictures!

Not for me. The floors in the room were very dusty/dirty. Everything is pretty run down. I cut my visit short, wore shoes the entire time and only stayed one night. The staff was kind enough to allow me to cancel my remaining night without charge.

I just returned from a one-night stay here and found the hotel to be perfect for my needs. As a single traveller, I had a double room for a very good price (which isn't always the case). It was very clean, and the bed linen was crisp and white. The water in the shower was hot and the pressure very good. The wifi was fast. The location was perfect - 5 minutes walk to the bus station, the same to the waterfront, and it was right in the pedestrian shopping area, and near the sights of interest. I was very impressed to find that the windows had shutters, so that I was not wakened by the early morning light. There are a few rooms for smokers in a separate section on the 5th floor so they do not affect the rest of the hotel in any way. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the single traveller.

I ve just check out here. Had a very nice 5 night stay. Staff are very helpful, print out my documents and boarding pass, store my bags gives me information as needed.|I had a room at the back. Views are not great but its very quiet. Room was warm but you can ask for a fan which i did.|Location is truly great. Right in the middle of the city, along a pedestrian walk opposite alot of shops and has the main market behind it. City hall square is just on the right. Bus station only 400 meters. Plenty of cafes for coffee.|Staff speaks good english.|Thank you for a very nice relaxing stay.

I stayed there just one night but I loved the place. The rooms are clean and basic with comfy beds. The whole place has the atmosphere of the Spanish 70s. I hope nobody is messing around trying to refurbish it. The owners just cope with English and they are very kind and willing to help. It's near the city center and at a walking distance of the bars and restaurants, however is very quiet at night. I mostly saw middle age couples visiting the city for tourism but it could be also a wonderful place for a low cost romantic escapade.
