Hostal La Palma

Only had cocktails but they were absolutely dreadful. No menu, no prices, just a list from the waiter. They came out, zero effort, zero enjoyment. 9 euros each!! It's only saved by the town centre location for people watching. Very disappointed, the only let down we had in menoca.

We stopped here for lunch. Waiters are very friendly and efficient. I had salmon which was delicious and the largest piece of salmon I have ever been served. Hubby had the burger but wished he’d chosen the salmon! Great experience and value for money

Only ate here . Plus points location and Cava Sparkling Rose was excellent . Minus point was Garlic Prawns were dreadful . Cold plate some ends of the prawns were still very cold ......expected sizzling hot prawns in garlic ......presented with the worst Garlic prawns ever . Would not recommend ......just living on location . Service fine and rest of food average average at best . Didn't read the reviews before going and would have avoided if I had done so . Plenty of nice restaurants up the side streets . To treat ourselves after this disappointment we treated ourselves to some lovely ice cream at Ricardo Riera just up a side street ....excellent and cheered us up.

Lovely place, the hostal was very clean, good breakfast and a lovely pool and garden area. Room with balcony overlooking the garden was very quiet. Great value for money. Fornells is a beautiful little town and the accommodation is right in the heart of it, fabulous for people watching- they also served great calamari

Visited this restaurant on a day trip and the only good thing about it is its location. We sat down and the waiter immediately huffed at us behind us and slammed the menus down. He came over to us and asked what we wanted and one of us asked for a cocktail menu and he immediately said “no” and I asked for a drink menu and he immediately said “no” so we got up and left. He was extremely rude and not very welcoming at all. I don’t know if it was because we wanted a drink in the sunshine or because we were English but we were not welcomed. It’s a shame as the location is perfect but shame about the service.

The rooms are okay and the staff is nice. The breakfast is also nice

Cleanliness - very good|Shower pressure - good except took a while for water to heat|Beds- reasonably comfortable|Air conditioning|Above a restaurant that is very popular so ask for a room at the back of the hotel. It is very central to the port and tourist attractions. The included breakfast was good. Overall I would go back (however I think the photo is a little deceptive).

We stopped here for dinner one evening recently, and had a lovely meal in very pleasant surroundings. Apart from Fornells being a fantastic location for a visit, this restaurant in particular delivered on all fronts, as recommended by the local company we went snorkelling with. The food was really tasty, myself and my partner had the waiter's recommendation, which was the local mixed fish selection, and this was very tasty and excellent value. My son had a Pizza, which although less exciting, was good none the less. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere very conducive to a nice evening out, and value for money was first class, 54 Euro for the 3 of us (with drinks). Would highly recommend, and would return.
