Room was small, basic, clean, perfectly located for exploring the town, and affordable - exactly what I needed. Most importantly, the staff were friendly and welcoming, something I found lacking in numerous other hotels on this tour. Breakfast is just enough to get you going but very reasonably priced. I'd be very happy to return.

I had a very enjoyable stay here. I booked the single room which is on the ground floor. For a private room and ensuite I thought it was very good value for money. I was grateful for the heating in the evenings as it gets cold at this time of year and there was plenty of hot water. The soundproofing isn't great so your stay may be less peaceful if your neighbours are noisy. The lady on the front desk was always helpful and was patient with me as I don't speak Spanish and had to use a translator. There are beautiful views from here and it's of course only a short walk to the main sights of Albarraicin. Highly recommended.

Having ridden through a storm we arrived at this amazing town in the middle of the mountains. The hostel is very quaint, i.e. not much room in the room but sufficient for our needs. The view from our balcony was spectacular and made up for the single beds.||Breakfast was basic but after a stroll around the town nothing was open first thing so we're glad we ate.

The Los Palacios is only small, but has bundles of character and fabulous views across to the old town, cathedral and the castle. Parking is a little tricky, but the public car park is very close by and relatively easy to access, even if the road to it is three quite tight hairpin bends. We received a wonderfully warm welcome, despite our Spanish being minimal and our hosts English being just as limited. The facilities were all we needed and the balcony view sublime. Walking to restaurants was very easy, although Albarracin is very 'up and down' - a great location and a lovely hotel.

Following the advice of a TripAdvisor reviewer I requested the room with the terrace. What a view! Could not believe I was paying such a small sum for such a view. When the shutters to the terrace are opened the room is flooded with light. There were fold-up chairs in the closet for use on the terrace. The beds were comfortable and the room was of a good size. The place was clean. The shower was a bit awkward to use because the shower head could not be affixed within the clip on the wall. But this is a very minor complaint given the great bargain of the room. The hostal seems to be run by a family whose several generations lived in the hostal. I dealt a bit with the mother and adult daughter and found them very congenial.

A fantastic option if your budget is low and you are looking for a comfortable, very clean and cosy place to stay. Ideal for families. There is a lovely patio where children can play. We spent there Christmas 2012 and it was great. Outstanding customer service. We had a very enjoyable stay!

We wanted to see some nature away from Valencia and arrived at this beautiful area which reminded us a little of Sedona Arizona with its red rock. Alberrecin is surrounded by a dramatic wall and a river. There is plenty to do and see there for two three days. The hostel we stayed at is simple but very clean and has a great view of the town and landscape. Because it was off season the reassurance was closed and served only a simple breakfast for 3€.
