I really like this place. The atmosphere is quiet, the room is beautiful, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is ok, and the price is very good. The only problem is that you have to walk up a little bit of a hill. The path is quite steep, suitable for backpackers but not suitable for people with a lot of luggage because taxis are not accessible.

One of my new favorite B&Bs.
We are active travelers who appreciate small authentic places. We were so happy with our choice. Excellent location for our daily out of Cusco adventures and amazing food within 3-7min walking. HOT showers. Rustic charming design. EXCELLENT service. Cozy breakfast space with books to read and a fireplace.
I want to come back to Cusco just to stay here again.
Muchas gracias por todo!

Madre Tierra has an amazing cosy ambiance. The hostal has a rustic apperance and is beautyfull decorated. Maykquell, the host, and the rest of the staff does litteraly everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. He gave us a lot of good advice where to go in Cusco and is amazingly friendly and helpfull. The rooms were really comfortable and nicely decorated. The showers were hot and everything was very clean.|We stayed at several places in Peru and Cusco but Madre Tierra was the best so far! Totally reccomend this place if you are staying in Cusco.

We stayed before and after our Inca trail trip and found it be a great base for exploring Cusco. ||It’s a short walk into the central plaza and there’s lots of cute shops and cafes to explore on the way down.||Maykquell was a brilliant host - very attentive, friendly and accommodating. He made us feel very welcome and helped us out with things such as taxis and laundry too! ||The hotel itself is very cute and has a very traditional feel to it. The rooms are a spacious, clean and super comfortable. The showers are nice and hot which is something we’ve missed in other hotels during our travels, so that was a bonus for us.||I’d definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Cusco :)

I have spend 3 days in this beautifull place. The atmosphere in the hostel is absolutely peacefull, and so is the whole suburb where Madre Tierra is located. Very close to the historical centre of Cusco as well.||Furthermore, and maybe even more important is the service of the staff / team. In has a very personal touch, and I felt at home at this place!||The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. I would highly recommend this place.||Kind Regards,||Michel

I have travelled to many different countries across most continents and stayed in all type of hotels. All kind of budgets and all kind of styles. Either way, I am convinced this was the best experience. They treated us like family and helped with anything you can imagine you. ||Anything you need, they will help and make you feel at home.||I should say that the rooms are also beautiful and so cozy, great views from the room I stayed. ||I also realised that this hotel works perfectly for travellers of all ages. Everyone seemed to be really really pleased with their stay. Congrats to Maykquell and Gladys for their amazing work at Madre Tierra!!!
