The place was good and clean for the price. The shower is great and has hot water (which is a Luxury while backpacking in Bolivia). There’s a lady that it’s the receptionist during the afternoon shift and she was absolutely lovely, very helpful and kind to us. The downsides: I didn’t like the mattress of the queen bed of room 8, it was too old and uneven, the TVs definitely need an upgrade and the brekkie was quite poor, the bread was not fresh and we didn’t get any orange juice. But overall, I’d consider coming back on my next trip to La Paz

The hostel Maya Inn is a very cheap hostel, centrally located. We paid ~20€ for a twin room.|The receptionist was very friendly and ordered us a taxi for the next day to get to the bus terminal. Also he gave us a good advice for a restaurant nearby.|Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Especially the breakfast (included in the price) was very good. We had bread with jam, coffee/tea, bananas and banana-papaya-salad.|The hostel looks a bit shabby and the bathrooms were old and one toilet broken. It is a bit cool in there also.|Nevertheless, if you only stay here for one or two nights it is definitely a good choice for small budget.

The hotel has an excellent localization. Wifi works fine and staff is helpful. However they overcharge guests. I wanted to stay just some more hours in the hotel until it was time for my bus, however there was no option to pay just half day and I ended up having to pay another night just for some hours, I don't think that's fair. The hotel is near a bar and there's live music from 9 until midnight, so prepare to not sleep at this time. And there were very rude and impolite guests with children running up and down everywhere in the hotel, blocking the stairs and elevator all the time.

Well located right at the Witches Market. Very old, run-down hostel though. Dark and dated. Shared bathroom was not very clean and the shower tap had insulating tap hanging off it. Breakfast was very basic and limited. WiFi really unreliable. Reception staff not very helpful or friendly. Definitely better hostels around.

Cheap price for a single room. Very central location. ||Hotel is simple and a bit old looking. I had no hot water in the||shower. ||Small breakfast with just a little bit of bread and some bananas. Not a fancy place but OK the money I payed. Helpful staff.

I just stayed for one night and wouldn't have liked to stay any longer. My room was ok but the bathroom ist really old. There was no curtain for the shower so in case of having a shower all the bathroom got wet. Also the floor was broken. Breakfast is really simple, just some bread and jam and either coffee or tea. What is really good is the location, a lot of pubs and restaurant are close.

Staff was helpful, location is great, water available for purchase. Downsides, smoking is allowed & it smells awful. Beds are overly worn & uncomfortable. Shower is unreliable & difficult to operate with no enclosures leaving a wet mess and water waste on floor. Noisy elevator & restaurants downstairs, plus city traffic makes it difficult to get any rest. We were booked here two nights because of a tour company, would have passed on the 2nd if wea could have.

We arrived here in the middle of the night from Cusco, Peru. It felt like we were the only people in the building (not a bad thing). I enjoyed the vibe. There is a currency exchange, laundry service, restaurant, travel agent and a small shop all located in something like a tiny mall down by the front desk (the money exchange place wasn't the best, the restaurant, travel agent and laundry service were pretty good). The people at the front desk were friendly. WiFi worked (weaker signal) in our room. There is a lot of excursion shops and other stores all around the area.
