I arrived at night with a transfer arranged through the hotel. The door wasn't opened, and I had to wait for 15 minutes. Fortunately, the taxi driver didn’t leave. The hotel is cozy, with charming old creaky floorboards, lovely plants, and atmospheric lighting. The room is spacious, and there's hot water in the shower. It’s also warm enough in the room. Breakfast includes juice, coffee, eggs, warm croissants, jams, butter, cheese, and fruit. The best hotel breakfast I’ve had in South America. The staff is friendly. The location is also good, with many bus stops nearby. Great value for money. The Wi-Fi upstairs is sometimes quite slow, and the walls are very thin — you can clearly hear people talking through them.

This little hostel was very nice. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. WiFi worked well and they even had Netflix on the tvs in the rooms. Breakfast was much nicer than expected. Eggs, delicious fresh rolls, jam, butter, cheese, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, fresh juice and fresh fruit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great for exploring the old town.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was an ok size . We didn't like the fact that the shower was separate from the toilet and basin. The shower was quite small. The room was a little dark as the natural light came from the covered courtyard area. The staff are very nice. They helped with a few questions regarding our stay in the area. Breakfast was nice. They cook eggs the way you want. Because of the layout of the hotel you might hear guests coming and going. This hostel is close to local attractions. I also recommend you do a free walking tour from the community hostal which is only 4 mins walk away. I would stay here again.

This is a stunning colonial hotel in the heart of colonial Quito. The staff are so kind and bend over backwards to help I'm anyway they can. |Water to fill up your bottles, rooms.l thoughfulpy decorated some with doors opening to the outside view. It's the perfect place to stay in Quito!

Booked a Single room. I had a nice view of the city/corner of the main street. Staff was very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Staff was also very helpful in assisting me to book and flag down the Uber vehicle after check-out. Room was clean and comfortable. There was no heat, however it was warm enough during my stay as there were extra blankets available in my room. Breakfast was included and was made fresh every morning. However, rooms are not soundproof! I could hear the loud kids next door and outside my room running around and screaming for most of the time I was there.

Fabulous place to stay in Centro Histórico! Situated in a good spot to take public transportation, near Marine Central bus stop, and Trolley Plaza Chica. Close to Plaza de La Independencia, and several museums. The staff was excellent - kind, helpful, and willing to practice Spanish with me 🤗. Rooms are spacious, spotless, with towel and soap provided. Would definitely stay here again!

All the staff we met were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and treats were served throughout the day such as banana bread, brownies, coffee, tea (even coca tea!), water. There's also a bar where guests can help themselves to a beer, soft drink or wine on an honor system and pay the tab at the end of the trip. Accommodation was lovely and rooms nicely decorated and back rooms are quiet.. Beds were very comfortable. Price was very affordable. Location is good, as it's near many amenities in historic part of Quito, however, the intersection where the hotel is located is very busy and hard to get an Uber or Taxi since there's lots of traffic during peak hours. We noticed many people loitering around in the evening since it's next to public transportation and a fountain, so keep your belongings safe and ask one of the staff members to call a cab or search for your Uber with you. They helped my friend and I out when needed. Enjoy your stay!
