Travelling with my wife and two friends (all over 60) we stayed twice in this hotel, once on the way to Morocco, and once on the way back. We chose it because it was close to the ferry port, and cheap. Not sure what other contributors were expecting for the money, but on both occasions we were placed in rooms that were basic but clean, dry and comfortable, with working services. There's no restaurant - that's clear from the website - but local bars do breakfasts and churros. If you're driving, best to head south on the dual carriageway Avenida Virgen del Carmen and park in the multi-storey car park 'La Escalinata'. It's a short walk from there to the hotel past several bars where you can ask the way. Then ask at the hotel reception about parking. You pay the hotel 8 euros (a night, I think) for a card, hand that and your car park ticket to the man in the car park office when you leave, and he'll give you a ticket to get out of the car park - saves quite a bit! We stayed at a weekend and a public holiday when the market was closed, so can't comment on the noise aspect. None of the reception staff we met spoke English, but it's a cheap hotel in Spain - not the Ritz which can probably afford to hire multi-lingual staff. We managed fine, and had two comfortable nights there.
