Central location, but the worst service I ever experienced, one towel one small soap for two people, bad attitude, windows that do not close, and after the rain water got into de room. Bad smell in bathroom. Will never go back again. My Booking reservation fail and I had to stay here after 13 hours bus journey. No lo recomiendo pienselo dos veces si llega alli.

We were leaving Puerto on that morning. But our flight to Lima was cancelled due to bad weather.||So the tour operator had to find rooms for 26 peoples. Consequently we all ended up at that hotel. The only pro is that it is located in the center of the town not far from Burgos. Otherwise there is not much good to tell. Small rooms, poorly furnished- cheap style, no toiletries except a small soap, no shampoo, Very warm room and noisy as well.||Very poor internet. Breakfast was coffee, milk, toast with jam. That's all. In a very small and crowdy room. ||As for the service: Terrible. Could not take plastic cards as system was faulty. A real mess-up. No elevator. We had to take up and down our heavy suitcases. No one to help us. Tagged as a 2 stars. And I understand why. But, we were stuck. So...

We had a night over at Puerto Maldonado on our way to Cusco. We wanted to stay downtown because if you head out to the nice eco resorts on the island, you'll have to leave your car in a parking lot, which wasnt ideal for us.||The hotel is clean but really just a place to sleep and head out in the morning: our room had no windows but was clean. But what stands out is the fact thaat this hotel offers hot water, which is rare in most of the other places in the town. So, I would recommend it only if you're not too picky and just want a place for shower & bed.||Oh, and there's a club quite close to it.. be aware that on weekends you'll have loud music (but still will be able to sleep) until 3am.

We stayed there for 2 nights after our jungle trip. Compared to other (cheaper) hostals we saw in PM the paititi hay really nice, clean and large rooms and wifi is also working well. Nevertheless the price is a bit higher but still fair. 110soles with fan and 130 soles with ac (28/33euro). AC is definitely recommendable due to the temperatures and the humidity in PM. We also changed our fan-room after our first night. The location is very central, halfway between the local market and the plaza de armas but also a bit noisy. Maybe rooms to the back are calmer...

+ Cold A/C and fans - This is everything you don't like about a budget accommodation. Loud streetside rooms with small firm beds. Cold water showers, creaky stairs and breakfast was coffee, bread, cheese and jam.
