Hostal Pangea

I love this hostel. The ambient and atmosphere are just amazing there. Its location is perfect, close to the town center, yet placed so the noise and music of various bars won't disturb you if you need to rest after a hike or tour. People are friendly there, the shared spaces are kept clean and nice, good music always on. Rooms provide pleasant cool down during a hot day, but they don't get too cold during the night. Beds are comfy. Breakfasts are good. I would definitely recommend this hostel to any traveler visiting the Atacama desert.

Great place to stay! Awesome people and service. Good breakfast, good rooms, very clean toilets and hot water. The only thing that can be improved is the floor of the male bath. Some times it would flood and that makes cleaning the feet harder.

It's alright. Hot showers, decent breakfast, good check out time (11am), cleaning every day. Showers are on the other side of the hostel though. The only thing i didn't understand, the guy at the reception made me pay the local tax. He insisted and as it was late at night when i arrived there was no point in looking for something else.

Nice environment but not the safest (unless you have a private room you don't get a key). The wifi is pretty bad. But the service is good, there is someone in reception who can help with tours, transfers to the airport, etc.

Very nice hostel with a friendly vibe. The rooms are large and the bed are comfortable. The interior garden is very pleasant and adds to the already good atmosphere. Breakfast are quite nice.

The staff are great. The room was clean. And the breakfast was brilliant. The only criticism was that the wifi was very slow (but that's the case for most of the town). Would recommend.

It's okay. Very central. We didn't have any warm water. Good breakfast...but they could not offer gluten free bread.

Clean rooms, storage for your bags and a friendly team. They helped us book an astronomy tour on the night we were there. Location is right at the main Street at San Pedro (almost everything in San Pedro is on the main Street). Only downside is that the hostel has no parking.
