Very nice 2-night stay with my boyfriend. The room and bathroom were clean and cosy with a lovely balcony looking onto the river. The room was warm and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning as it set us up for a day of adventures. The cava was also a nice touch. The staff were lovely and we highly recommend staying here! Thanks

The Posada Huecar is in great spot. It's just at the base of the the old city with a river running right across the road. It was clean but why they have one long pillow for 2 people to share is weird. If you use the paid parking, make sure you go to the underground one, not the above ground one. Great little local bar down the road. Keep an eye out and you might get parking right in front of the building. Recommend.

Good location, nice staff, clean and complimentary breakfast. Quite close to the historical district. No elevator. Few free parking slots in front of the entrance, but almost impossible to park there. There is an underground parking nearby at few minutes walking distance from the Hostal. Reduced price of 12 EUR/day for guests at Hostal Posada Huecar (for getting the discount, it is necessary to press the information button to speak with the operator when paying at the machine).

It's a cozy place in a great location, close to strategic photography spots which was an important factor when waking up in the early morning and not having to walk far away. Spacious room was clean, had a cozy bed and we had a good rest here in beautiful Cuenca. We got a receipt for using the paid public parking nearby the hotel which is an arrangement between them and the parking.

This hostal is a gem. It's spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with rustic furniture and the staff are cheerful and welcoming. Included in the price of the room are tokens for the coffee machine and biscuits for breakfast. The location is good, between the old and new parts of Cuenca. To get to the old town you'll need to walk up some steep windy roads, lots of fun but tricky with a pushchair or for someone with mobility restrictions. The hotel has free public parking spots right outside but these go fast so depend on luck however, they have a deal with a secure underground car park nearby where you can park for 9 euros per day.

Very comfortable room, good AC, and excellent location. Yolanda, the Manager, and Patricia, her assistant and who was always at the Reception desk, were extremely gentle and always eager to help me. Patricia even helped me with my carry on to my room. I want to thank them both for their kindness. They were excellent tourist guides too when recommending to me places to go and restaurants . I loved this hotel and its location, close to the hanged houses,to the Parador, to the center of town and to different restaurants and bars. I highly recommend this place for a short stay in Cuenca.||-- |Marisela
