Hostal Remoña - Turismo Rural en Picos de Europa

The only thing I don't understand is how is this hotel listed as 'one star' on Google. The hotel is amazing, the rooms are modern and extremely clean, the service is fantastic and the food is delicious. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of choice and good coffee (not to be taken for granted). This is probably the best hotel we stayed at during our 12 days trip through the Picos! They also offer a 'lunch package' for 13eu wich is more than worth the price if you are a hiker as the only shop opens only at 10am. It was so much food, we didn't manage to finish it! Absolutely fantastic place to stay at!!

We are from NY, and we've been staying in a few places in this region hiking with the group. This hotel I can easily call home. Jesus and Javier were very nice, dinners were authentic and tasty, made with all local ingredients. Rooms are fully renovated and modern. Javier told us some interesting stories about the area, and I wish I could speak Spanish well enough to keep the conversation. The funky color of the hotel building stands out and can be seen from even from the top of the mountain - very smart idea as it's easy to find even without the map.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment was modern, clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for a visit to the Teleferico and area. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and Jesus was very attentive and friendly and gave us excellent suggestions. Highly recommended!

We had a perfect week here! The contact with the host was so easy-going before, during and after our stay and we were welcomed with homemade treats, which was just that extra little bit of effort that makes the difference between good and great. The 4-bedroom appartement (8 beds, 2,5 bathrooms) was spacious enough yet rurally cosy. And most important of all, it was clean. Will definitely come back when we visit the Picos de Europa again!

Nice friendly mountain hostel well situated for some hiking and to reach the cable car. The only downside for us was that we got one of the unmodernised rooms in the attic, which was a bit small. Our kids though got one of the new rooms with two beds on the first floor and it was fantastic.

We loved our stay! The room was clean and very modern to be so rural! The bathroom was updated and had great appliances. We loved how cute the exterior was and the staff was so kind. The restaurant was some of the best food we have had on our hike! Would recommend this hostal to anyone.

Best!!!! And I will say it again, best place so far for food, knowledge, service, just incredible. The food is great, rooms incredibly clean and comfortable, we just couldn’t have asked for more after one week around picos.
