The hostal is right on the main street, but everything typically gets quiet here between 10 and 11 pm, so the location wouldn’t usually be an issue. That is, of course, unless you have the misfortune to be there on a night when there is a concert 1/2 block from your window. The concert began at 7 pm and ended at 3 am, and the last drunks had staggered home by 4 am, so there was time for a 2-hr nap before getting up for another long, hot day on the Camino. Apart from the concert, over which the hostal had no control, we were happy with our private rooms and baths, as well as the breakfast, which was heartier than the typical breakfast that is served along the Camino. The hotel is on the edge of the old city and close to shops and a self-service laundromat, so you can re-supply and leave the next morning wearing clothes you did NOT wash out in a sink.
