I just returned from my trip to Chile and had the best stay here in Santiago! I booked this hotel over a year and a half ago and had to postpone it twice due to foot surgeries. I contacted the hotel and Claudia postponed my stays with no problem! Great communication and I loved them before I ever arrived! When I did arrive, I was greeted in the sidewalk by Ginny, the hotel’s mascot. Everybody who assisted me at the desk, no matter the time of day, was friendly and helpful. My room was great and I even had an extra side room, so I kept my suitcase and clothes on that bed. All the comforts of home, great wifi, walking distance to the Bellavista shopping/dining area and the Baquedano metro station. I added the breakfast on the mornings I didn’t have early tours and it was great! I had dinner and drinks a night and everything was very good. Small, comfortable, boutique hotel in a gorgeous old building!

I spent a week at this lovely Hostal in March of this year-2025-and was so impressed that I decided to return a number of times during the ten weeks I spent in Chile....The room I was given was large and clean and frequently serviced.Breakfast each morning was excellent and the location was perfect-a short walk to Banquedano, the nearest metro station...Sleep quality was perfect. The staff really helped to make my stay so enjoyable...I want to mention Caroline who handled check-in during my first visit,as well as Janice,Javiera-an excellent chef-Antonia,Fran,Christian,Claudia and Sebastian...A special thanks to Ron for those early morning discussions about his home country and for those early breakfasts before I headed to the airport....Many thanks to Miriam and her Dad Fabiano and again to Claudia for the free room upgrade when I arrived late one evening....This is a top class place to stay-convenient,clean, super friendly and well managed...THE PLACE TO STAY IN SANTIAGO...Worth returning to...Top marks... 10 out of 10.

Based in a rough area with buildings covered in graffiti. Private room no air conditioning just a noisy fan. No view to speak of from the room. Half an hours walk to the main square. Lady was friendly on check in. Certainly would not rush back!

You will absolutely not regret choosing this location. We stayed for 3 nights in November. Beautiful decor and everything was comfortable; loved the central patio. Location is walking distance to many attractions and also right near a metro for anything else. Staff was always very friendly and made the very best pisco sour I had through all my time in Chile. Thanks again!!

Loved our two night stay here. Staff were all excellent and very helpful with information about Santiago. Room was comfortable and clean. We also had a reasonably quiet room which was great. As often is the case remember to bring a plug for the sink. Breakfast was good with eggs, rolls, yoghurt, cheese slices, oats and plentiful coffee and tea. Great location, around 20minutes walk into the centre and on the edge of the really nice Barrio Italia area which has great restaurants and feels very safe. Good wi-fi too.

We loved this place! Beautiful inside and out, the people working there were wonderful, breakfast was delicious, a welcoming, laid back and colourful base, which emulates Santiago as a whole.

I stayed here for 7 days during a trip across South America in a private room w/ my own bathroom. It was a comfortable experience, if a little rudimentary. The room was relatively large and had lots of light. The bed was comfortable and the place itself was quiet. Unlike some hostals I've stayed at in the past. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the flush not working on my toilet but that was fixed when I mentioned it to them. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful traditional building with very kind and helpful owner/staff. Also very clean and well maintained. There is a pretty and quiet courtyard. And everything interesting is close, as it is in the middle of all the interesting Barrios, most of them in walking distance. Can highly recommend.
