Perfect stay! The hotel is just a short walk from the city center, in a super convenient and well-connected area — you can easily get anywhere on foot or by public transport. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and mini-markets all around, so you have everything you need right nearby. The real highlight, though, is the manager: incredibly kind, always available, and very attentive. He speaks several languages fluently and helped us organize our entire trip, recommending the best places to eat and the must-see spots around Madrid. Great value for money, perfect location, and outstanding hospitality — I couldn’t recommend a better place to stay in Madrid!

We stayed at this room for our vacation in Madrid. The stuff was friendly. The rooms are really small but most importantly they are uncomfortable. We have stayed a lot of times in really small rooms in the past (smaller than these ones) but at least they took care of it by making the environment more cozy and with some basic amenities. The rooms are zero soundproof. We could hear at all times our neighbors even their smallest noises. The towels small and not good at all (I recommend you bring yours). Also, they are not “typical” with the cleaning of the room at all. All in all good and safe location, but if you can afford 10-15 euros per night more, maybe you should prefer another accommodation.

I had a 4 night stay to attend a conference. Although the room was small, it was clean and quiet. The service was super friendly and helpful and felt very personal. As a woman travelling on my own I felt safe. I loved the location which was an easy walk to most attractions as well as being close to metro and bus stops. Great food to be had a 5 min walk in the La Latina area.

Went on booking.com and filtered by airport shuttle. This place came up so I booked (non-cancellable). When I was asked about the shuttle, I was told that they didn't have one. The night before our trip, I was asked to confirm arrival time, and I mentioned the shuttle. I told the person that she should not advertise having a shuttle when they don't. She told me I was being unreasonable and cancelled our (supposedly non-cancellable) reservation, less than 24 hours before arrival. Never, never use this place.

The receptionist is absolutely friendly and helpful. You can text them for anything you need. They replied quite fast. The receptionist also gave great recommendations of attractions. The location is close to every tourist places by foot. Some of the reviews have already addressed the existed problems of room being really small, and extremely noisy as if you are sleeping next to a dorm mate. This hotel price is cheaper than other hotels you can find nearby. The biggest problem for me is the check-out, I was asked to leave my room key when I left the apartment, but the front gate of the building got locked by other tenants and the receptionist was not working after midnight. It was 430am on Sunday morning. I texted the receptionist and he said I was lucky since he's just around. It was funny that while waiting for the receptionist to save me, the taxi driver had to wait for me as well but outside of the gate, chatting with me like visiting a prisoner behind bars. The driver mentioned this situation is not new since he picked up other guests from this apartment before. Hopefully this situations will be fixed anytime soon.

Very beautiful Hostal in the heart of Madrid. ||Additionally to the beautiful rooms and the location I was really pleased with the staff.|Everybody was helpful and Mr. Iván was especially helping me. |Really keen on helping with any possible question or issue and trying to make my stay as comfortable als possible without being pushy about it - excellent service.|I will come back for sure!

Fabulous location and magnificent employees: very helpful, kind, but especially commited to assist guests. My family and I visited Madrid and felt very much at ease here. Free internet which worked better than at home! The rooms also have a/c and private bathroom. ||The rooms could be slightly larger, but they are fair enough.

I was one week in Madrid for work and with all this Corona situation I was a little bit scared. That was my second time here and I feel very safe. The two guys at the reception helped me a lot. They explain all the new rules and the room very clean. The best thing for me its the location, just in the city center with good conection with the "Metro". -- TOP ! I will always recomend this place to stay in this amazing city ! #Madrid
