Hostal Sa Rota

I highly recommend this hostel - we stayed as a group as we were on a walking holiday and we were made so very welcome by Tony and his wife - always helpful and with a smile ! The rooms were clean and the position for eating out was fantastic ! 5 minute stroll to the beach and if you wanted could borrow umbrellas - very helpful also on our last day we could store our luggage and shower - great price also !

Extremely kind and generous hosts. They were super helpful with the tips to go around,finding taxis, boats etc. They also let us use the fridge downstairs. The best of the lot was on the the last day, after the check out they let us keep our bags at the reception and after we came back from the beach, they let us use the shower and even provided toiletries. One of or if not the best hotels we have stayed in.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Very well located. Nearby a lot of good restaurants and cafeterias. Fair price and service.

The host is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, a little dated and basic, very Spanish and fantastic location to explore the buzzing vibrant town of St Eularia. The shower was great. Breakfast delicious, a smallish spread but just all you need. We didn't miss the pool as the town beach is only a short stroll away and the water clear and beautiful. If you just want a great base to explore the area and don't mind the old fashioned interior and basic beds/bedding, then this is ideal and fantastic value for money.

This is such a lovely place to stay. It is a family run,spotlessly clean truly authentic Ibizan establishment. This is our first stay but many of our fellow guests were repeat customers who return year after year. The central but quiet location is wonderful. Five minute stroll to the beach,ferry stop or bus station. Plenty of cafes,bars and shops a stones throw away. The owners were extremely helpful,polite and attentive without being over the top. The breakfast was good with a wide choice of cereals, baked goods,fruit,cheese etc. The coffee was very good and plentiful. The terrace at ground floor level is a good place to enjoy a drink from the Sa Rota's bar shaded by the beautiful canopy of foliage growing there.There is a very smart lift if you are worried about stairs. I just didn't want to leave and hope to be back soon.

A real fine establishment, the owners are so attentive, and nothing is too much trouble. It's a Hostal by name only, the service they offer would shame some major hotels. The bedrooms are basic but more than adequate, air conditioning and a fair sized balcony, fresh towels daily.The whole Hostal is kept spotlessly clean, with the addition of a lift and the outside garden room made it a most memorable stay.

Hotel is at the end of resturant street. Very central very Spanish in decor . But clean and maid service everyday except Sunday. Our bathroom was on the small side . But it's a bathroom and forfilled our needs. Good size balcony. But we faced the back over looking residential apartment . Opposite us was a flat which was overrun with cats on their balcony and numerous litter trays . The owner didn't clean this at all while we were there on one day it was very hot and you could smell the cats and trays so could not sit out. This is not the hotels fault but it was a problem .. breakfast was continental. Meats cereals. Fruit and loads of coffee servered by Antonio... Lovely people who work very hard to run this hotel had a lovely stay would recomend.

We loved our stay at Sa Rota. The host and his wife were very welcoming and the triple room was clean and had all we needed. Cleaned every day. Location was great, meters away from restaurants and beach. Great price for what we got. Only thing we missed were eggs for breakfast, otherwise lovely and good value buffet breakfast. Will be back one day!
