Hostal Santa Águeda

Wow this hotel is beautiful. Oak beams, full of character. Comfortable bed s, eco friendly lighting, pristine bathroom. Full of atmosphere with photos of Raquel Meller a famous singer and actress of 20s and 30s. Centrally located near the cathedral. LIFT 2minute walk to free parking. Tarazona definitely worth a visit.

This hostal retains much of its original charm. Terracotta flooring, beams etc. but complemented with modern facilities. ||||It is very close to all central amenities and sites making it easy to pack in a busy itinerary. There is no breakfast available at this place despite reference in another post. ||||Note that despite the comfort, the rooms are very small and that includes the bathrooms. The shower is probably not recommended for somebody of a 'larger stature'! However, at around €70 a night you cannot complain.

Great central location; secure parking about 100m away for 12€.||Breakfast was good and the room clean and a good size for a 1 night stay. We loved the information about the actress Raquel Meller- lots of newspaper cuttings from many years and countries.||Staff were friendly and helpful with our poor Spanish. ||53€ for one night inc breakfast. Wi-fi was excellent and allowed us to stream TV.

This is in the heart of the old town and a perfect base for sightseeing. It is a wonderful mixture of high tech and old world. You aren't given a front door key, instead a machine records your fingerprint and that's how you get in. The downstairs is a shrine to Raquel Mueller a Spanish film icon who was big in the 1930s. The landlady was a bit nonplussed when we said we'd never heard of her. We stayed in a lovely double room with a 4 poster bed and its own balcony. It was really clean and well appointed with a comfortable sofa and plenty of space. The shower curtain didn't quite fit and the water splashed about a bit. It was one of the most powerful showers we've experienced in Spain too. The breakfast was fine although the landlady fussed around doing everything.

Rooms tiny very clean. Showers are very small hard to move. To b old hotel, nice cozy😊👍

Very decent hotel near the centre of town

Mejor que muchos hoteles con muchas estrellas! Trato amable desde el momento de la reserva hasta el momento de salir. La habitación es muy amplia y limpia, si bien es verdad que el baño es un poco pequeño (pero por eso es un hostal y no un hotel) pero tiene una ducha muy apropiada. Está en una ubicación muy céntrica y rodeado de todo lo necesario para poder desayunar sin necesidad de que el hostal lo proporcione. Hay aparcamiento cerca sin tener que pagar y, en Tarazona, no hay nada lejos. Si vuelvo a tener que quedarme en Tarazona será mi opción!
