We love our stay at the Santa Maria Hotel. From the beginning was great, because we could park in front of the hotel and someone was there to help us with the check-in. The hotel is in the central history of Ubeda. So, we left the hotel and found the most beautiful views of the city. Also, many restaurants/bars with delicious tapas.| The room was perfect for us, with AC, a pleasant shower and a comfortable bed.|The owner of the hotel was so helpful over the phone and when we met him, giving us information about the city.

The owner was warm and kind and the hotel is in an absolutely beautiful and historic area. The bed squeaked every time a hair on your head moved. It squeaked so much that we did not get any sleep at all. The sheets had stains on them.||The shower was decent and the heater worked well. |There is parking close by and there is an elevator up to the room. ||No breakfast was offered and there was no coffee in the room.

A beautiful experience! Rooms are very spacious, clean and bright. The hosts really took the time to explain the main sights around and give recommendations. Free parking easily available. Simple but tasty breakfast.

Clean, comfy rooms, staff very friendly. Not staffed all the time, but arrangements were easily made for us to meet and gain access. Very conveniently located to explore Úbeda. Limited parking outside…we were unlucky, but plenty of room at that time of year in the public car park along the road within a 5 minutes walk. Simple but good Spanish breakfast. Reasonably priced for Úbeda.

Ideal for a short stay in Ubeda. We stayed for one night in June whilst touring Spain. ||We arrived mid afternoon, but there was no one present. However, on calling the mobile telephone number displayed on the front door, a young lady called Andrea quickly turned up and booked us in. ||Our double room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. ||The place itself was an easy, pleasant 10 minute stroll from the numerous bars and restaurants in Calle Real and Plaza Primero de Mayo.||Andrea returned the following morning to serve the (included) Spanish style breakfast which consisted of coffee, toast, ham and cheese and was quite substantial.||Parking. We dropped lucky and got one of the 5 or 6 parking bays directly outside the front door. Otherwise there is a free public car park 250 yards/5 mins walk away. ||For 15 euros, Andrea also said that she could arrange for closer, secure, overnight underground parking if required.||For 60 euros, this was by far the best value of anywhere we stopped on our trip. ||This may not be a Parador, but it is a lovely little place.||Try it.

The most beautiful place I've ever stayed. It's classed as a Hostal, however it was like a 5 star Hotel as far as, comfort, service and decor was concerned. Beds comfortable, a breakfast to look forward to each morning with a huge plate of fresh whole fruits, cheese and tasty coffee. Even gluten free bread available. Location perfect in architecturally interesting old town. Staff couldn't do enough to help. The owner is an Art Professor and hand painted all the beautiful, Porch, doors, headboards etc. A fabulous experience!

Excellent little hotel in the best part of town. Perfect location close to all the main attractions in the old town, and if you walk down a couple of hundred metres you can enjoy a wonderful panorama with the gorgeous olive groves and the mountains in the distance. The hotel is recently refurbished, large, clean well furnished rooms, comfortable bed and a fully equipped bathroom with an excellent shower. The staff is very helpful and do everything they can to help. The only drawback is that there is no parking on site... however you can park temporarily until you unload the bags and then park in the public parking about 250m away.

This place is absolutely outstanding. I stayed in room#1. It's large with apparent stones, painted tiles in the bathroom. The bed is great too. Last, but not least, the staff is kind and helpful. I cannot fathom how this is only a 1-star hotel. I've stayed in quite a couple 4-stars in my life that didn't meet these standards
