Hostal Santo Tomé

This is a very well run Hostal in the wonderfully atmospheric old Jewish quarter of Toledo. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and my room was a good size with a comfortable bed and great bathroom. The whole place is very clean and an excellent base for exploring this magnificent old city. Overall I would rate it as excellent for the reasonable price paid.

Perfectly located, gracious host, very clean, and amazing value for money. It's a hostal (not a hostel) so we had a private room with bath. But unlike a hotel, there's little to no staff (the front desk is just the counter at a souvenir store) so nobody to help with luggage. Mattresses were very very soft and pillows were no good. But this hostal is definitely highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers.

We stayed over a couple of weekend nights at this well run establishment as part of hastily planned trip. We could not have been more pleased with the location and could not have been more impressed with the caliber, friendliness and helpfulness of Juan and the other staff--what a joy! The room was large enough, had a decent closet and pleasant and very clean overall. The wifi was a little weak but serviceable. The bed was a little small for me 6'3" but I really can't complain as I slept well and we were so close to all the attractions. We will stay there next time we visit Toledo.

The manager/owner good not have been kinder and more helpful. He helped me out with several problems, including a parking ticket I should not have been given. The room, beds, bathroom and balcony were excellent. Great location Santo Tomé!! Loved it, Peter and Robin

Great location, nice rooms, staff excellent. In the center of Toledo. Near good restaurants. The owner also has a really nice souvenir shop, with gourmet items.||Off site parking helps a lot. Had a great time. Highly recommended.

Perfectly serviceable, reasonably priced, clean and pleasant two star hotel right in the heart of Toledo (5 minutes walk from the cathedral or the El Greco museum.) Staying overnight in Toledo means that until about 10.30.a.m., you can see the streets without having to queue! Very friendly and helpful manager. It's useful to know in advance that the doorbell connects to the shop next door / downstairs, part of the premises.

We stay for 2 nights, 3days of sightseeing. Room was clean, simple, beds were very good. Breakfast not included and we ate just up the street at a nicer place than most hotel breakfasts. There was no fridge in the room. Wifi and TV were fine. When time to leave, they called a cab for us.

Awesome place to stay. Largest room we've had while in Spain! Incredibly friendly staff. Room was spotless and the location was great. In the heart of Toledo. All of that for 60 euro!
