Reception was locked until late afternoon, denying us access to the hotel. The shower was broken, the bedcovers had hair on them. Not very clean.||Once someone arrived to let us in he claimed that it was normal to open at 5pm and we should have known.

The hostal is very well located and we had a good view to the ocean. But we can get that view cheaper. The price is way too high. We came to sleep. The room LED lighting is terrible, the bathroom sliding door does not close and should be replace by a real door. One light in the bathroom was missing. On top of that they don't even serve breakfast. No Wifi in the room.

We stayed two nights at Hostal Tarik. The reception staff were friendly and upon arrival scurried down the road from where the receptionist was having his lunch, and checked us in without any fuss or hassle. One note worth mentioning is that the Hostal asked whether it was possible for payment in cash, they can do card transactions but prefer cash. We weren't fussed either way and they were happy to wait until the next day to receive the payment. |The interior of the hostal is beautifully decorated with classic Spanish tiling and potted plants. |The room was very simple but very clean and well kept. The bathroom was a little tired but also clean and supplied with clean towels and some gel/shampoo sachets. |Our "sea view" was not a full view but still a partial view was lovely and the character of the street below was enough to keep us entertained. We didn't experience any noise as mentioned on previous reviews of the hostal just the bin men early one morning but that is understandable and minimal. |A lovely stay in a great location at a reasonable price. |

It is nothing super fancy but very clean, comfortable accommodation. It’s in a good location, a short walk from the beach or the town. I think most rooms have a balcony or outdoor space to use. For the price, I have zero complaints and will continue to stay here in the future.

I stayed at this hostel in July. It was extremely clean, room was big, had a/c and the bathroom was perfect. The place was quiet at night and the beds were super comfortable. |The location is good. Although not in the city center it’s literally 5 min walking from the party places and restaurants, 2 min from the shops and 5 min to the beach. |Check in was quick and check out even more (just drop the keys).|I asked the receptionist and cleaner for a few tips (as local people I guessed they would know) and they were very nice to us.|Overall this is a very good option for our next visit to Tarifa.|Also good for friends and family.

We stayed at hostel Tarik for one night. We were told there was parking but on arrival were told to find somewhere down the road which wasn’t what we thought parking would be. The room was large and spacious with great air conditioning. The bathroom was clean however there was some excessive damp above the shower. Be warned that this is on a road and therefore the noise from the road / other people can wake you up during the night. Very convenient location and friendly staff.

We usually stay in La Mirador in Tarifa but it was closed so we tried the Hostal Tark. They had a double room with a small balcony overlooking the front and views of the sea. We checked in and paid the bill. The standard of the room was adequate, the bathroom was fine and the bed was quite comfortable. The wardrobe door was broken and we would have loved pillows instead of one small bolster. There was free wifi and overall the decor was attractive and has some lovely Spanish tiles.

Nice location. But the air in the room didn't feel good. There was no window and it was dark and not welcoming in the room. There is absolute no sound isolation, so you can hear EVERYTHING from the other rooms and the streets, so if you want to sleep through night forget it!!! Not worth 60€ maybe 30
