Hostal Venecia

Great location, quiet, comfortable and warm rooms in winter. All the staff were really welcoming, especially Fernando. You step out of the hotel and there’s plenty to see and do. The street in front is mostly car free. Breakfast was really good value too. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Valencia.

We've just returned from a stay in this hotel and were most impressed. Reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean so a shout out to the cleaning staff for doing such a good job. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Walk-in shower was excellent. Location of the hotel overlooking the town hall square is perfect for sightseeing with great choice of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Having said that our room was very quiet. Obviously good sound proofing. Really good vibe in the square too. We took daily breakfast at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was no hot food, but the choice of cheeses, meats, fruits, pastries, etc, etc was excellent. A great big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. If we ever return to Valencia, which is a lovely city, we would have no hesitation in re-booking Venecia Plaza Centro.

Very clean new room with an amazing view of the plaza. Location is extremely convenient. The bed is comfortable with good pillow choices. Provided a pod coffee maker with free pods for each day and a hot water kettle, too. Free lockers to store luggage is very convenient. The only negative is that the WiFi is basically useless, and the desk reception said she did not know how to fix it.

The hotel was beautiful, from the outside, the reception until the|rooms, the room.we got was lovely, spacious, and we got partial|viwe from the plaza with a little balcony. The hotel is located in the|plaza del ayuntamiento wich is so close to everything|food ,shopping, tourist places, we have a little issue with the|Air cond, however Carlos was SO happy to sort the things out, we|were given a fan and he was happy to offered us a change of|room if we weren't happy, he was so helpful that makes a|difference in the stuff, but to be honest the rest of the stuff was|very nice also! Always with a big smile on their face! Which i think|is the best thing that u can find when u arrived in a place Happy|to recommend the hotel to friends and family! Lovely stay! As with previous reviews don't be put off by the 2 star rating as this hotel is perfect for a trip to beautiful Valencia! Staff were all welcoming, friendly and really helpful, our room had a view of the square (deffo worth the small supplement to upgrade) and was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, the bar area was chilled and informal and very reasonably priced. We would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family and would have no hesitation in staying again if we visit the area 🙂

Great rooms in a fantastic location. The premium terrace rooms are definitely worth the small additional charge with comfortable sun loungers and a table and chairs. Nice view of the Plaza too. Staff very helpful and friendly as they seem to be in every Melia hotel I have stayed at.

The location of this hotel could not be better however, beyond that there was not much to recommend. Nothing was really bad but the rooms were tiny, the furnishings sparse, and the breakfast simply adequate. We were most disappointed with the welcome drink, which was not free but a discount on a thoroughly mediocre vino tinto that, with the discount, cost more than a typical glass of vino tinto. The good points were several: good bed and linens, good shower and towels, dark,quiet room, and a very lovely and helpful staff. If my above complaints seem petty and are not a bother to you then, give it a go. Great location and many good points might well offset those lacking.

The "2 star" on this hotel should not fool you. This hotel compares to (and exceeds) many 4 star hotels I have stayed in. ||The location is perfect, set in a lively area and walking distance to lots of sights, shops, bars and restaurants. ||The staff are friendly and check-in was welcoming and informative.||Our superior room was large, clean and comfortable with excellent amenities (microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, bath, lots of storage and hanging space, ceiling fan and aircon, large TV and roof terrace with balcony). Daily cleaning and new towels were provided even for a short 3 night stay.||The hotel has a small bar in the lobby offering inexpensive drinks including cocktails. ||We were on the top, 8th floor and didn't hear any noise at night - we slept extremely well.||Check out was a nice 12noon, and there is a luggage storage service.||Highly recommend!!

We were very happy with our stay at Hostal Venecia. The rooms were very large, clean, and comfortable. The location is right in center of Valencia and within easy walking distance to all the major sites. The staff was friendly and helpful.
