Hostal Villa Blanca

We loved our stay here. The town is so cute, and the hotel is lovely. We had a budget room with no external windows but it was clean, fresh, and spacious. The public areas are great and the parking was secure. There is construction happening but it didn't impact our stay at all. It's a short walk to the square and restaurants, and there's a supermarket a few blocks away. Great wifi. Recommended.

We just showed up to this place and got a lovely, brand new room with two queen size beds in the newly added part of the hostal. We paid about half of what we would have paid through any of the hotel booking sites which was an extra bonus. The rooms are quite spacious, bathrooms with marble all around. The cafe is very convenient and delicious for a late night snack/drink or dinner and breakfast. There is still some construction work going on so there is a little bit of noise. Metapán as a town doesn’t offer so much in terms of bars or restaurants so we were happy to have this cafe next door.

Great place to stay, my family and I stayed here during the December Holidays to see Metapan's Christmas festivals. I'm not from El Salvador but I felt very safe & comfortable at the Hostal and around Metapan, it's wonderful place, I would definitely stay at Hostal Villa Blanca again.

We liked this place, it’s clean and a good price. Two confortable beds and a clean bathroom. The cafeteria it’s good we love the friendly people and the quality of service. Of course I recommend it.

This place brings the comfort of home and offers a clean place to connect and enjoy. They have wifi and TV’s, air conditioning and clean facilities. The Cafe Villa has amazing coffees and pastries and other beverages. The staff is friendly. I was welcomed by the owner himself and given a tour.

It’s not bad for what this city has to offer. It’s simplicity is good. Hostess is very well mannered. No pool at this location, but the Cafe is awesome. Excellent room service. The only reason I gave it a 4star is because of no pool.

We had reservations for 2 nights, but ended up staying 9 nights (due to the Semana Santa weekend and the fact that I was recovering from food poisoning from a bad meal in Honduras). We could not have been in a better place. The room was large, very clean, the shower had plenty of hot water, the bed was comfortable, the wifi good, the A/C worked very well and there was very secure parking on site. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Right next door was a pharmacy and a grocery store was just across the street. The hostel is 1.5 blocks from the main square which has a nice selection of restaurants surrounding the square. Being unable to travel for a short time, we were SO glad it happened to us here. We cannot recommend this hostel enough! If you are in Metapan, give yourself a big treat and STAY HERE.

This is a great hotel to stay at if you are headed to Montecristo National Park and Trifinio. After driving from San Salvador, its good to be able to stay at a clean, safe, hotel, with gated parking that has its own restaurant and café. Prices are very reasonable. I paid around 35$ for a single room with shower, TV, Air Conditioning, and clean room. From this hotel, its easy to grab a quick breakfast and coffee and head to the Montecristo Park early enough to make it in time for the deadline to start the Trifinio summit hike through the Cloud Forest. Highly recommend this hotel for travelers!
