Hostal Chvictoria

Great location, just 2 minutes walk from the main street in the new park of Cuenca, and only a 5 minute walk to the start of the old city (20 minutes to Plaza Mayor). Rooms are very good value for money. Check-in was very quick and easy over the phone, and cleaning staff in the mornings are friendly and courteous. There is a communal fridge, coffee maker, microwave, iron etc which is very useful. Have stayed here before, and will definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a nights stop over with underground parking. Very friendly and helpful staff close to bars restaurants etc

I stayed in this hostel in mid-November (2017), the room was okay, I love the tv as it worked well (had some view channels, but still good). The bathroom was good. However, the only problem was that I could not communicate with someone if there were any problems. My shower head was broken.

Very good price to quality ratio - the rooms are nicely decorated, well equipped and cleaned daily. The owner is very friendly, she allowed us to stay in the room until 6pm on the day we were leaving. Good location.

The place could actually be very nice but it obviously need a refresh and the room to be emptied a bit, the couch taking half of the room the huge chairs etc.... just so the tv doesn't stand in the middle of the room eventually replace the lamps from the 30's or at least the lightbulb (more than half are not working) and the aircool is not cooling enough the room is awfully warm to sleep even though colder than outside. However the good part is that the room is clean despite the very old age of the decorations. (Violetta room)

Good quality / price balance. Large rooms, reasonably comfortable. With a little more care in maintenance, ratings would boost.

A great deal to stay in Cuenca. The hostal is closer to the centre, the rooms were big, very clean and comfortable beds.

Well, its true that I went there obliged, but I enjoyed the service that they provide at that hostal, another thing that I really liked was the food, it was delicious. I recommend this hostal to everyone!
