We have been staying at the Yeti for years and it just gets better. The owners are so welcoming, friendly & helpful. The rooms are simple but the place has absolutely everything you need: |- great buffet breakfast, |- parking (incredibly hard to find parking in Sierra Nevada and it costs a lot), |- corner shop/ little supermarket next door for any supplies, ski / snowboard rental if you need to hire gear, |- close to the village chair lift mid station & lift pass machine |- and you can ski in/out for the end of the road!

We booked Yeti after after looking at other accommodation in the area. Everything we read suggested it was in a good location and had good facilities. When we arrived we were helped with our bags from the car, parking was found for us, and on the last night it was ensured that we'd be able to get out at 4am without needing to move any other vehicles! Breakfast was great - enormous croissants and a selection of fruit, bread, jams, cheese and ham, as well as a hot drink machine that was accessible all day. You can walk the 100m to the blue Maribel slope just by El Lodge (very nice looking hotel) and ski down to the cable car lifts at Pradollano to go up to Borreguiles, and continue up on the chair lifts from there. Breakfast was from 8am so we were on the slopes early, and all the equipment we hired from Yeti was in good condition and fitted well, and for a very good price, €40 for three days per person. They got our lift passes for us too, so everything was organised on site, no trudging around before we could get going. I like to fit as much as possible in to a holiday so we managed 24 hours skiing in three days and an afternoon/evening in Granada and at the Alhambra. That's a 45 minute drive down and worth doing. The beds and bathroom were just what we needed and so very comfortable, memory foam pillows! It was warm in the room even when we turned the radiator off so we had the windows open for a bit, and it was a bit noisy. We were in room one which basically is in the entrance area, but it wasn't noisy for long, or too late really, it's just that we were in bed early to make the most of the days! Lovely staff and guests! Can't fault it. It's not a 5* hotel but it is very good. Id definitely stay there again.

We were really impressed by our stay at Hostal Yeti right from the start - the free parking was right outside and the hotel manager came out to help us with our bags! Excellent breakfast each morning included in the price and served over 3 hours so very flexible. Secure storage for skis and boots in the on-site rental shop was very much appreciated, especially as a heated boot rack was available! The room was clean, tidy, with a TV, plenty of hot water, good shower, heated towel rails and plenty of linen - no shower gels etc so bring your own but this was anticipated. Excellent wifi coverage with fast speeds and no data caps. Warm room - almost too warm, we had to open the windows a few times overnight to cool down a bit! Location is great with a very short walk to the telesilla that takes you down into central Pradollano so access to the slopes is very quick and easy. We were pleased to find you can buy your ski pass (forfait) at the hotel reception so no queuing in the town centre for hours.||||The only downside to our stay was that the walls, as previously reported, are not very soundproof and our neighbours' "night of passion" was clearly audible on our first evening - earplugs recommended!||||However the care provided by staff here was top notch - even going as far as providing a softer pillow when requested. We were really pleased with our stay and will definitely come back the next time we are in Sierra Nevada - many thanks!

Stayed in April and the snow was fantastic. Chose this place for its parking and were not disappointed, got a space right outside. The rooms are basic but comfortable and its a perfect no fills place to crash if you want to ski. Breakfast, again was basic, but perfectly adequate and we'll definitely return :)

We booked a 4 bed room in the Yeti hostal for 3 nights at £150 per head so did not expect much. We were pleasently suprised to have been given a room that was split into two bedrooms with really comfortable beds. The shower was decent and the price includes a free breakfast. The hostal was nice and quiet and the staff were great and English speaking. Would highly recommend for a nice cheap ski trip.

We knew when we booked that the accommodation was going to be basic but we were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The owner told us where to park and helped us carry our bags inside. The parking is free and either off the road or in their garage. You leave the key with the owners as due to parking being at such a premium there is sometimes some moving about to do. The room was small but had everything we needed and was spotlessly cleaned every day. It had a nice modern shower room and the water was always hot and the shower powerful which was great after a day skiing. The beds were really comfy but the walls thin! However we didn't experience any noise at night as with the owners on site everyone is very respectful so had great nights sleep. ||The hostel is in the middle area of the resort (I think), about 50m from a chair lift that takes you down in the daytime to the main resort area. There is a big queue to come back up at the end of the day so we walked up. It's a tough walk but manageable. The hotel has three wifi options so I think all the areas are covered in some way. It was always fast and available for us. Breakfast is help yourself - bread, croissants, jams, pâtés, fruit, biscuits, yogurts, eggs and more. It is more than enough to set you up for a days skiing. I think you can use the breakfast room in the evening if you were to get a takeaway - plates and cutlery available. The owners are always around and very helpful with anything you may need. Overall a great stay and would come back.
