Hostel 24

We had a great one night stay in a private ensuite room. Staff were excellent and when we left behind a kindle, they arranged by email to post it back to us, for just the cost of postage. Well situated for the centre of the lovely city and the funicular to the Castle. Near a good supermarket and has a decent kitchen.

The location was amazing, being incredibly close to the Dragon Bridge and the Central Market. However the room was just OK. Everything worked fine, but the fan didn't reach to the bed. Things were mostly clean, but it all just seemed pretty outdated. Plus it was very unpleasant to have the window open right on the street level with buses going past and other loud noises late into the night. After I checked in, I don't think I saw anyone in the reception area for the rest of my stay (maybe once over five days). The layout of the hostel made it very inconvenient to leave your room, have to go outside, walk around the building, then re-enter the other part of the hostel. Overall, there wasn't anything wrong per se, but I definitely wouldn't stay here again. There are other places to stay at similar prices that have equally good locations but with better service and more updated amenities in a more intelligible layout.

Room was excessively expensive for the capacity….really small for a double occupancy. Also not very confortable and very loud outside. Good was staff at front desk very helpful (big thanks) and very central, we were right away in the center. We would look next time for other options…

It is an hostel, you get what you paid for. The staff is super friendly, and the location couldn’t be better. However, we stayed in the hostel during August and all we had was a fan to cool the room. It would be nice to have AC in the room…

This hostel is very close to the city center, right next to the Dragon Bridge. ||The staff was very friendly while the rooms were nice and welcoming. Each rooms are equipped with a bathroom, lockers and AC. The bathroom was a bit old but everything worked like a charm!

I would say this is a good deal if anyone wants to stay in Ljubljana just for 1-2 days . This place is close to main city centre that's old town area and everything is easily accessible by walk . There is just few things which I didn't like about this hostel . Room has very dark feeling even in daylight. Bathroom always had some weird smell, rest every else is fine.

We stayed for the whole week there and I can definitely recommend this hostel! Location is excellent everything is within walking distance. Staff is super nice. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Great hostel at a great price. Thank you Hostel24 for a great stay!
