Hostel 2962 - Garmisch-Partenkirchen Zimmer Ferienwohnung

Well, it's a Youth Hostel. Not a modern space, but everything works and it's clean. I was in a 4 person community room. The bunk beds are a bit thinly built and sway when you move on top. Breakfast choice is okay, location is very central. Good for a short stay.

Big, beautiful rooms for just few euros! Just one thing to notice, there is only hand soap so be sure to bring it with your shampoo. There was only one bathroom that can be and issue if travelling with a larger group (>3 ppl). Breakfast not included but you can buy it for just 4 € in the morning. After all, a great deal

Kitchen of apartment was really basic. 2 rooms didn’t have a door (very noisy). 2 rooms with no storage room and 1 room with mattress in the ground. Price was not high for the Appartement but even for this price not good enough. Owners was friendly. Little parking facilities. Clean. 5 min walking to center.

I've been here for just one short night plus breakfast time but it seems a very nice hostel. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was nice albeit not very rich in variety (but it's normal for a hostel). This structure does not have a 24h reception.

Good service upon arrival, the staff is nice the rooms are clean. Breakfast is mediocre at best, but also pretty cheap. We had multiple rooms with a kitchen, but the kitchen was missing even the most basic equipment.

I booked two beds in the hostel on my trip to Zugspitze. The lady at the reception was wired, first she didn't give us proper information about the place and gave us room without any locker. While travelling the bus driver told me that the hostel should provide me a 'Guest card' which makes public transport free of cost. On asking the lady at the reception lied again saying I didn't ask her. washrooms are small and dirty, not enough arrangements to keep it clean.

Hostel was clean and well taken care of. There was only a few parking spots. If you don't get one you are on your own. Unfortunately, the staff was not friendly. Good coffee that was served at breakfast.

Full points just for the hospitality of the guy who owns/runs the place. Should have just called him directly for booking rather than through Hostels.com which just charges us extra €16/person. Has a great view from the corridors and delicious breakfast for cheap.
