Alplodge Interlaken

Lovely spot right by the river and within a couple of blocks to the public riverside where you can swim. Great view out the balcony! Close to Interlaken West and plenty of supermarkets and restaurants around. The dorms were quite small and my bed frame was super squeaky. Bathroom and toilets are combined so it’s a bit of a nuisance wanting to use the toilet but someone’s using the shower. Otherwise the bathroom is clean. Lovely terrace where you can have your meals with a great kitchen. Great budget accomodation. Ask for the Interlaken pass so you can use free public transport around the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. It is super close to everything, only a few minutes walk. Super clean and has all necessary amenities. Would definitely recommend this place.

I don't know why this hostel has such a high rating everywhere. I have stayed in hostels that have a 6/10 rating that are better than this. Rooms are small, beds are creaky, lack of power outlets and a lack of bathrooms. The latter of which there are only 4-5 for the whole hostel it seems. It wouldn't be too much of an issue if it wasn't for the fact that it's a combined shower and toilet unit. The layout of the bathroom is also awful as it's almost impossible to shower without wetting the floor of the toilet. I had to take off my socks everytime I went to the bathroom because the floor was always soaking wet. There is no service. The reception is self check-in. I was lucky that a staff member walked past when I had issues creating my key card. It's not a social hostel. There are no activities so if you wanna meet people you will have to take the initiative on your own. Does not matter to me but it's worth noting. The location is great and for Switzerland the price is reasonable (though it's triple the price of hostels I stay in outside of Switzerland). It also has a nice balcony with a nice view. Perfect for eating a meal made in the communal kitchen or just hanging out.

Had a great time at Alplodge. Nice location, Clean bathrooms and kitchen. Superb view from the living room. The staff were pleasant. Has a locker facility too. Easily accessible from interlaken west station and the bust stop is nearer too.

I stayed here for a couple of days, and it’s an affordable hostel in Interlaken. I booked a shared room, which was comfortable, and it even had a nice view of the nearby lake. Check-in and check-out were smooth too. A great value for the price!

I stayed here last week and I was very happy with everything.....starting from the room which had a beautiful view of the canal with blue water, facing mount Harder, the location cannot be better in interlaken, its central and surrounded by nice restaurants. I was most impressed by the hotel staff who were very friendly, & super helpful. I mistakenly forgot my camera on the road near the hotel......after I checked out and had left interlaken..upon calling the hotel, the staff went out of the way to go and find it for me. Moreover they even helped to send the camera back abroad to my home country, for which I would always be very greatuful to Octavia & her team at Alplodge. I would defintely comeback here on my next trip to Interlaken & highly recommend the hotel to my friends & family :)

Nice hostel that does the job! Rooms and toilets are pretty clean but sometimes the kitchen is messy but can’t blame the hostel because some guests do not bother to clean up after cooking. Good central location near to interlaken west station. Highly recommend! The roof terrace is a nice place to chill at too.

This is a cute little hotel/hostel conveniently located right in the middle of Interlaken. The room was nice and spacious (and for some reason had an extra sink right by the bed). The option for bike rentals was amazing, and we definitely took advantage of that to explore more of the city. Overall it's a decent hotel with everything you could need!
