Hostel & Apartment Diana Park

Very disappointing experience overall. The customer support was unhelpful and surprisingly unfriendly from the moment I reached out; the opposite of what you expect from a hotel with supposedly good reviews. The infrastructure also leaves a lot to be desired. The building is extremely noisy. On top of that, there are far too few restrooms and facilities for the number of guests staying there, which leads to long waits and a constant feeling of overcrowding. Between the poor service and the uncomfortable environment, I cannot recommend this place. There are many better options where staff actually care.

I stayed here for 6 nights in September 2025, and am pleased that I chose this hostel. It's very conveniently located - it's walking distance from the central train station, main shopping area, Kamppi shopping centre (for coaches to Porvoo), multiple tram stops (for getting to the harbour for a day trip to Tallinn), and multiple supermarkets. The reception is staffed 24/7, so I was able to check in after midnight following my late night flight. The hostel was very clean and tidy - the staff did a good job of keeping the kitchens and bathrooms clean at all times. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, and they kindly offered to store my bags after check out. This isn't a party hostel, but it is perfect for people who want a quiet and comfortable place to relax after a day of sightseeing. People generally weren't very talkative in the kitchen, but I met some nice people in the dormitory. Compared to other places in Helsinki, I think the price of my stay was very fair given the standard of the accommodation, and I would definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice hostel in a central location. The common area is exceptional with coffee and cooking supplies. Also the staff will do your laundry for you for a small fee. (For those taking large trips that is a huge feature.)

Great location and service. Flexibility by parking. Rooms are clean and tidy. Good Wi-Fi connection. Many sockets for charging. Only the elevator is missing.

Great value hostel in the city center of Helsinki. Honestly, it's perfectly located, everything including the train station is in walking distance, but you are still in a quiet area. The room itself was great, the bed was nice & there were good bathroom facilities The hostel had a very nice atmosphere because of all the old furniture (which was in good condition), it's like you go back in time. The people running the place were also very helpful. They lent us free towels & we could keep our bag behind the reception after check out. If I ever need a hostel in Helsinki again I will definitely use this one!

Great hostel. The place is a bit far (although walkable) from the railway station, and I recommend taking a tram or bus if you have big luggage. There was a kitchen for cooking/warming our own food. The vibe is really good. The rooms have lockers for personal items, but the size is only good for backpacks. You have to get your own lock if you want to use it.The staff were so kind to let me keep my big luggage for some hours. Apart from this, the hostel is located on the 2nd floor of the building with no lifts.

The location is perfect for those wanting to be close to the action and beauty of Helsinki. You can walk everywhere or the trams will pick/drop you a stone’s throw away. |For hosting so many people (I estimate capacity of 45-50) this places was extremely quiet. I had a courtyard side bedroom with a bed by the window and that was quiet too. |Kitchen is well equipped for those camping out multiple days, a grocery store is less than 3 minutes walk. |Totally recommend to anybody that wants an affordable place, meet people, be close to most of downtown Helsinki and still have quiet time to rest. |Staff is beyond patient and helpful.
