Hostel Bed n Beer , Belgrade

This place was better then I expected. Really tidy and organized. When I needed a budget accommodation in this area I doubted but said ok for one or two nights but basically it is a lot cheaper then the two or three other hostels around and you don't have the feeling of you did something wrong with checking in. The staff is super friendly in every kind of question. Great area. Seems to be it will be my favourite here. Nice bars and classy restaurants around. The security is high. They have a 24h reception service. Laundry is much cheaper then in other places. Seems like they kept the service high and everything else on eyesight level. 😃👍

This hostel located at the heart of Belgrade. You can reach all of the monuments from hostel by walking. The single room was a little bit small but cosy and clean. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Just one thing I didn’t like about it, the showers hasn’t the door. It just has a curtain.

We had a very good stay here. We arrived in Belgrade on the sleeper train from Budapest which was an experience! Having seen lots of comments previously advising that guards took and held passports for bribes etc we were naturally worried when the guard came and took our passport and told us we would get it back in Belgrade on arrival (in broken English). It was exactly as the guard said and we had no problems st all except that it was 6am and we were exhausted. We went to the hostel straight away to try and leave our bags and were so pleased when we were able to check in straight away. We had an en-suite room which was clean and tidy and the staff were great. Even offering to take us to the airport if we needed to!

Stayed in this hostel three separate times over the past four month. Good amenities, clean, location a plus- I enjoyed the hostel. However, I was quoted almost double the normal rate while staying here more recently. They gave me a discount for staying two nights but I am still paying more (3.5 euro/night) more than other guests for the same room. A small amount, but enough to affect my loyalty and generally give me a negative feeling :/

The hostel is awesome for several reasons: || cheap, in the centre of Belgrade, has a basement for guests so they can drink, comfortable beds and very nice people working there :)||This was my first time going to a hostel and it was really amazing, I'm glad we ran into them. ||||You will not be sorry if you go there :D

Location, location, location. This hostel is located couple of steps from Skadarlija (literally). Restaurants, cafes, 24/7 shops and historical centre are in walking distance.||||The hostel is a strange place in itself. Belgrade is a party capital and I was expecting to meet a crowd of nasty university students who would make large noisy parties and shout in the middle of the night. Instead, the hostel was full of strange people in their 30-40s, who seemingly consumed drugs. The rooms in the hostel badly need some cosmetic renovation, as some appliances as coat hangers are about to fall apart. Kitchen is equipped pretty alright, except for the fridge, which seemed to be about to fall apart as well. Bathroom is fine from functional standpoint, but it could have been cleaned a bit more often.

Well, I stayed there 3 days before New Year, haven't seen any one drinking beer or having -an at least partyish thing- in the hostel, so "Beer" in the name of the hostel seemed to me just a bait. Location is good. I stayed in a single room , it was ok.

You get what you pay for and can't expect luxurious accommodations for the price. The location is great and the staff nice and helpful. The mattresses are very worn through and it can be noisy as every guest has to ring the doorbell to get in. Walls are also rather thin.
