Hostel Beds On Bohio

This place is really convenient for its location and for restaurants close by. Walking distance to the beach and it also offers a lot of options for tours and surf lessons. The rooms are pretty basic but they have the basic necessities you need as well as they do have lockers and the kitchen if you want to secure your stuff. The pool is really nice and the kitchen is equipped enough to make food. Nothing super fancy but for the price you can't go wrong for this hostel. Just keep in mind that there is a club directly next door so if you're looking for a quiet hostel to sleep early this is probably not your best option. If you're looking to party and have a good time this place is very accommodating for that

I stay in hostel all the time, and this was by far the worst experience ever. The hostel is not clean at all and the rooms are unbearably hot. When we asked for a fan (in most but not all rooms) , the staff broke into another room and took the fan without telling the other guests. The owner is a drug addict and was high the every time we saw him. Frequent drug deals in the courtyard including the owner. Our room was on top of a bar that played music until 4am every morning so sleeping was impossible. The only good thing about the hostel is its location and proximity to the beach and restaurants. Will never visit this place again. Be careful when booking, non refundable. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We loved the place. Super well located. The rooms are very big and clean, just make SURE you get A/C. The staff was kind and helpful. The common kitchen is great. They were building the pool when i was there but when they are finish in few days, the common area will be very beautiful and chill.

Really enjoyed the stay here. The staff were great. Met some cool people. The price was perfect. Half a block to the beach. Will definitely stay here again. The music from the club next door was a bit loud at night but I just tried to ignore it. It was the only detractor.

Since 10 months I come to this hostel and always enjoy my stay there. The rooms are clean and the pool area is super chill. The restaurant serves really good burgers and at the bar (swell) there is ladys night every Friday and Saturday. The best about beds on bohio is probably the staff, going there always feels like coming home.

A bit of a party atmosphere. Nothing wrong with that, but if you're looking for a quiet night's sleep, consider something else. Overall, the staff was super friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The hostel itself is pretty cool too.

We were walk- ins and it was late we kinda came in this one because of availability but we only stayed 1 night because the room was super dirty , it had a bathroom but the ceiling and shower curtain where black with humidity , the mattress was horrible , and the sheets had had a tough life. We changed very early to Roams2Board. It was amazing , almost like staying at a 4 star hotel but making friends at the room ..

Excellent surfer hostel. Jaco is kind of a grimy town but you will find friends here. I would opt for the room with AC if it's not full. It's not much more and there are few havens like this when traveling Costa Rica. They have a bar and restaurant attached with reasonable priced food or a large kitchen if you wanna cook for yourself.
