Hostel Cukrarna

Amazing location with very friendly receptionist. I was lucky enough to have an empty dorm, the toilets were clean. Very close to the beautiful canyons, old town, 12 min to the train station. You can also keep your bikes inside. Bike friendly place.

One of the greatest hostels I've been to. Great place! Fully recommended! The staff is really helpful and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, new, and beautiful. There’s a big living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace and a fascinating story about the building. Even though it was after the check-in time, the staff was waiting for me <3. Thank you! There was no issue with storing a bike inside. You can also try local food for breakfast.

An incredibly friendly welcome, use of cooking and washing and the option of breakfast. The private double room was amazingly good value, with a fabulous view across the gorge. Hard to beat.

It’s our second time in this hotel. This time we were 3 adults, got a room with 2 double bad, a private bathroom, and a small kitchen. The host is extremely nice, and very helpful, and the location is great - near everything in Kranj with a view to the river.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Very good price value ratio. The private room had a very pleasent interior, AC, well equipped bathroom, and comfy beds. From the windows we had a view on the canyon and the nearby mountains. Communication with staff was easy and respectful. Location is great for hikers/bikepackers for overnight stay or even for multiple days.

I can say nothing but I would like to say Come and Stay here so you know the reason why I gave 5stars Service? Clean? Place? Perfect I'm typical lazy man but this Hostel mades me review

Wonderful hostel in the heart of Kranj. We stayed in the private room with a private bathroom during our first stay and the room was very beautiful and clean. The view of the canyon was spectacular. I have stayed in some 4 star hotels which were not as nice. We also stayed in the 6 bed dorm and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Each person was allocated a very large locker. They have a small bar and cafe area downstairs which is well worth sitting in. They sell a selection beers, wines, pizzas, Slovenian Dessert Dumplings and ice creams. As well as gins and liquors. The prices are incredibly affordable and the view again is amazing. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and will make your stay all the better. The only downside is there is a shortage of showering facilities. If you stay in any of the private rooms this won't be an issue. They have said they have plans to increase capacity in the future.
