Hostel De Draecke

Great hostel! I stayed only for 1 night and it was perfect! Breakfast was included in my reservation and they have a buffet style, diversity on food. Location is perfect, close to everything!

This hostel, not particularly cheap, offers good accomodation, clean rooms, a tasty and healthy breakfast and it's located near the town centre in a quiet and nice part ot the town. The staff are ready to help in a kind way.

I loved the place, especially all the lovely details like the introduction into recycling. The rooms are perfect and I love the bathroom ensuite. Everything is clean and the staff is very motivated and helful. I look forward to coming back to this place.

Very good location, good breakfast and cleanliness, quick and easy check-in and check-out. You have to make your own beds. Quiet.

We stayed here for 2 (3) days during the Gentse Feesten and this was the perfect spot. Very close to the centre of Ghent, you walk a few minutes and you're already in the festivities. But at the same time the location is in a more quiet spot of the city, so there isn't a lot of noise. Perfect for when you want to sleep.

The only good thing I can say about this hostel is the location and the friendly staff. Otherwise it is way too expensive for what you get. Had a terrible sleep, matresses were super thin. Had to close the windows cause there were always guests chatting outside at night, and then the room got way too hot. And the scouts blasted their music at 7:45 although I am aware the hostel isn’t responsible for that but if I had known there would be so many children on our floor I would have stayed somewhere else honestly. All in all just way too expensive for what you get. I‘d rather have no free breakfast and a cheaper price in return

Very disappointing experience. The room was dark, smelled bad, and the shower flooded the entire bathroom. The toilet had no ventilation. What I got looked nothing like the photos online. When I asked the receptionist for help, he was rude and sarcastic, saying "it’s not a 5-star hotel." I left within an hour and didn’t stay the night. Would not recommend.
