This is a residence for students that has been transformed into hostel. You can have an individual room for an affordable price, 10m away from the old town and with breakfast! The attention in the reception is great and it is well connected with public transportation. There’s also possibility to store luggage in case you need to travel around. Some disadvantages: no elevator; rooms are no soundproof, so you can hear people leaving early in the morning (normally the hostel is used for short-term stays); there are no dustbins in the room and as in every hostel you should bring your own toiletries. But towels and linen are provided, and there’s soap in the bathrooms. The kitchens in each floor are well equipped (kind of tricky how to turn on the electric stove), in some of them you even have an electric kettle. No microwave. The breakfast is quite simple, but fair for the price. A big challenge was the internet connection, which they told me, have been recently affected by the floods. But depending on the timing and place you can manage to work it out. Some mosquitos in the night (no net in windows), so in summer perhaps you should bring repellent. In the dining room you can take potable water.

In the city center. Rooms were clean and comfy. Bathrooms brand new and clean.

Be sure to double check how much they charge you when you check in. We paid for 4 nights and this was confirmed at check in. We did not receive a receipt, but assumed everything was okay. 4 days later on the day we planned to checkout we asked to extend our stay. They told us we only paid for two nights and that we now had to pay for the other two that we had already stayed for. We had spoken to reception a few times prior to this about extending and no one mentioned this to us and told us everything was okay. At this point they told us not only do we have to pay for the two other day, but that since it was after 10am thst we were informed of this we had to now pay for that day as well. When i told them i wouldn’t pay for it they threatened to call the police on me. I saw the police show up a few days prior to this with another hostel guest so i believe this is a common scam at this location. If i had known i had only paid for 2 days i would have left after 2 days. They tricked us into thinking everything was okay and then forced us to pay for another day because, as i said, they waited until after 10am to tell us. This place literally robbed me and threatened me with the police. I spoke to a manager and he called me a liar and told me everything is my fault. I told him i didn’t receive a receipt and he called me a liar. I told him to check the cameras so he could see that I didn’t receive one and just said “no.” avoid at all costs, otherwise ensure you are being charged correctly at check in or you’ll end up getting robbed like i did.

Beautiful hostel in a refurbished building, most likely from a school. Mattresses are comfy, everything is spotless, and well taken care of. The staff is friendly, and the hostel is actually inside an art gallery! The only downsides are the price, which despite being one of the lowest of the city is still pretty high for an hostel. The other one was that the breakfast was 5€ instead of 4€ as advertised.

A 20min walk from city center and train station. The price is okay, really nice staffand they offer free breakfast and some nice tips what to do. However, limited kitchen equipment so be prepared to bring your own plate. Only a few pots that work on the induction hob, so you have to go look for them. Other than that, nice place

Probably for a high school student it’s okay, but for college student it’s better to have some rooms with private bathroom. No sound proof at all so you can hear everything in the corridor. Breakfast is okay but when you have 1 or two weeks the same thing, you will quickly get tired of it... European style breakfast with one main dish only.

The Hostel looks hideous from outside, it’s a grey ugly building and does not look welcoming at all. The Check in took very long, about an hour, because our room was not cleaned yet, even though it should have been by that time. The room itself is not nice. It is very hot, especially in the third floor, and there is no air conditioning provided. Maybe that is the reason our room smells like smoke and fire. We have booked for three nights but we will leave after the first night, not nice! Also it does not feel like a hostel, because it is huge and you don’t get in contact with the people here. All in All, do not recommend!!!!

Nice hostel with friendly service and atmosphere. 10min walk to the city centre was a major bonus, as we were travelling with 2 small children. Free parking place. The major disadvantages were shared bathrooms, were it was a bit messy and no toilet paper. And for light sleepers- it is a bit loud next to the busy street. We stayed there only 2 nights, but for long stays I would advise to use ear plugs. Overall positive.
