It's very close to the train station and there are a lot of shops and cafes nearby. If you enjoy walking, you can get to the main sights admiring the architecture of the city. You have to pay to get clean sheets

A great hostel in a very convenient location. We stayed in a mixed dorm room and the staff were great even when we checked past 2am in the early morning. The rates are incredibly reasonable, great value! The beds were comfortable as well and if you rent sheets, are very clean. There is an electrical outlet next to each bed and a little reading lamp. The showers have good pressure as well! The only cons would be that the beds were very creaky and squeaky even with the slightest movements, and there was a strange man who tried to follow us into our dorm room one day- nothing that cant be avoided with a bit of vigilance. The crowd was mostly Russian- we didn't meet any other international travellers at that time.

The first time I stayed in the hostel. I chose this hostel called Friends. That hostel located in nice and convenient location in the heart of the city. Hostel is normal and clean, but has problems with hot water. I lived here 6 nights and every morning there were problems with water. I tried to turn on hot water at 7 am and 8 and 10 am and it was nothing. I think the owners shut off the water to conserve, and they say that it is over in the evening and did not have time to heat up. Also pillow is very small, like for a kid. Staff is quite friendly. But I am not sure if I will stay there one more time.

Most friendly, clean and fun hostel in the world. I never been in so perfectly clean, professional stuff, very well equipped hostel in the world. On 7 days staying there I met so many interesting people. The location is perfect near metro Vostaniya and Moscow railway station

We found this place nearly perfect for couples who want to stay in St. Petersburg for a couple of days only not willing to pay the horrendous prices of up-market hotels. The location could not be better - 5 minutes walk from Moskovskij Voksal and 3 minutes from the metro. We have hardly ever seen a hotel that spink-spank clean, new beds and matraces, a kitchen equipped with everything you need including hot water for tea, tea bags and sushki. The rooms are small of course, but we have been out most of the day anyway like most visitors will be. The shared bathrooms were very clean as well and we regularly saw somebody cleaning everywhere. At the reception the staff is very helpful and fluent in English, they gave us anti-mosquito equipment without charging, friendly advice how to go where etc. ||The only thing still to be perfected is the internet. In the room we could log in but never got it running, in the lounge the four PCs were better but with long interruptions.

nothing when I stay in my room,I wear gas mask I still feel stuffy. they put concentrated hydrochloric acid in water. they are not good people. It is not a good place to stay.

Very nice place. Located right in the city centre. Also every Monday evening- there is a.meeting for Russian speakers- everyone and anyone who wants to practise his/her Russian is welcome there. Regarding the rooms- I cannot comment as I have not lived there.but tge building is very clean.

The administrator told me there was no available bed in the dorms, and that they no longer do registration (but she couldn't explain the reason). When I contacted the reservation service of all Druzya hostel, they told me there is available bed and all hostels do registration. So unprofessional to lie to customers, you wasted my time for nothing.
