Hostel Elf Prague

I had an excellent experience at this hotel! The service was impeccable from check-in onwards, with staff who were always polite and helpful. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well-organized, providing great nights of rest. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of quality products. The location is also a major plus. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and good service.

I would really like to recommend this hostel to everyone who is planning to visit. First of all, the service here is absolutely amazing! You can’t even imagine how open, kind, and friendly the guys at the reception are. They always help, give advice, chat with you, and share useful tips. so incredible service?!!! We arrived on Christmas Eve at 4 a.m., and they kindly opened the doors for us, gave us advice, and took us in. Later, they also helped us find a room for two people (we didn’t have a reservation). The hostel is very clean — the cleaning staff does an excellent job! In addition, there is a kitchen with 24/7 free access to tea, drinking water, and coffee. We also happened to be there during the Christmas celebrations, and on that day the hostel treated all guests to traditional Czech cuisine for free. And most importantly, the main reason to stay here is the community. Every morning and evening, guests from different countries gather in the kitchen, so you can easily socialize and make new friends from all over the world. I highly recommend this place to all travelers, and I’m very grateful that Elf became my first stop while exploring the city of Prague.

I stayed here for about 4 nights (in December 2025) and it was a wonderful place to stay, especially as a solo traveler. The hostel is very clean, well-organised, and feels comfortable from the moment you arrive. The staff are incredibly polite, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything you need. What really makes this place stand out is the variety of daily activities and events, which make it easy to meet other travelers and enjoy Prague even more. They also offer useful services like laundry and other amenities that make your stay very convenient. Overall, a great hostel with a friendly atmosphere — I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Prague, especially solo travelers.

My time at hostel elf was unreal. Staff at reception were very friendly and polite, always up for a chat. Rooms were kept clean. The kitchen was user friendly. Bathrooms kept clean as well. I found the whole place had a cozy home vibe always people around willing to talk the beer garden is cute outside. Most nights had events or activities to join in and meet people. The hostel was located close to main station but 20min walk to the main hustle and bustle.

I stayed here along with my friends for 2 nights. It was my first time staying at an hostel. It’s very clean and hygienic. Rooms are good. There are heaters. There’s a fully equipped kitchen. And the it’s in the centre of the city so all the places can be covered. Don’t forget to get a doner box from the guy opposite to hostel!

This was a wonderful hostel! It provided the most quintessential, community-based, vibrant hostel experience I've ever had, it was exactly what everyone tells you a hostel stay should be like. The 24/7 service is fantastic, and the location, a mere ten-minute walk from the main train station, is priceless. Can't recommend highly enough, and will definitely be back!

I stayed at Hostel Elf Prague for 4 days, and it’s a relaxed and welcoming place. The room is spacious, with a bed that’s just the right size for me, at 163 cm tall. Free coffee and tea are available at the reception, and there’s a kitchen on-site. The hostel has plenty of bathrooms and toilets. Its location is excellent! It’s enough to avoid crowds, yet just a few minutes' walk from busy areas. Also, it’s near the central bus station which is a convenience. It’s an ideal choice for a student and solo traveler who's on a budget like me.

Very well situated Backpacker Hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a well equipped and clean kitchen for everybody's use. Our 3-bed-room was quite big and the bathroom very nice! The only criticisms: it was quite noisy (thin walls) and I was sure that I had priorly paid the room by credit card, which turned out was not the case and I had to pay cash. I was not the only guest this happened to.

The nicest staff ever!!!! I think his name was Ivan, let us check in at 6 am and gave us a place to sleep early. Everyone was very attentive and kind. Will definitely be back! Thank you!!!!

One of the coolest hostels I've ever stayed in. A few friends and I were traveling around Eastern Europe and needed a place to stay in Prague. For $25 USD each (between the 4 of us), we got a 4 bedroom private room. Though the place gave off a grungy, hippy vibe, the place all around was very clean. Service was awesome and very accommodating. There were a ton of other travelers staying here at the time we checked in, which was a little overwhelming at first, but definitely got use to a bunch of new faces always around. The part we loved most about staying at Hostel Elf was how open and chill everyone was who stayed here. The first night, we met a ton of people by just keeping our door open. There was a bachelor party in the room next to us from Hamburg, Germany, so with our door open, they came over to say hi, bringing their liquor over to share. They have hostel events scheduled every day (like a bbq or game night), which is a great way to meet other travelers. They're totally optional, but I highly recommend making one of them. We met so many cool people, which let us following a group from the UK to a boat cruise on the river. It was amazing. Great service, cheap nightly prices, very clean, friendly open environment, and even a open bar with happy hour. It's in a pretty great location, which was not far from the central station. Talk about a travelers paradise.

Really nice hostel with everything you need and really clean. Only two downsides are that it's not located directly in the city centre, a bit to walk and that the cleaning lady starts at 8am, which woke me up several times, but the rest was just perfect and affordable

Lady at the receptionist was very accommodating and rooms/beds were clean. Quiet at night and free breakfast. Awesome place but a little far walk from metro or train. Otherwise would definitely come back

Great hostel. Good service, cheap, good bear, happy hour and always crowded even in low season. But as most hostels don't expect to have a good internet connection.

Amazing hostel, amazing experience here! It's a super cool hostel, incredibly friendly and helpful, and there's cool stuff to do like fusbal, a barbecue, movie nights, free buffet breakfast, free towels and all those little amenities, and it gives off a sort of hippie/loose vibe, but it's freaking dope! Pretty good location, it's near the train tracks, near a good view, and like a 25 minute walk to town, but it's totally worth it. Definitely staying here again if I come again, no doubt. Overall cheap as well. Perfect hostel.
