Hostel Haru

Hostel Haru was a great experience. The location, facilities, and check-in/check-out process were ideal. The dorm and lounges were thoroughly cleaned every day and new towels were issued daily. The shower was hot with great pressure.The area is central. It's right outside of Line 1 Jongaak station exit 4/9. It surrounded by lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. It’s also a great area to jog in the morning or evening.

I liked this hostel, it’s in a great location, close to subway and bus stops, also close to the bus stop for airport bus. Rooms are good and clean. Not that much space but enough. And comfy beds. There’s even TVs for each bed. You get towels and a toothbrush which was nice.

I booked this hostel based on overwhelmingly positive reviews and the promised view, but my experience was deeply disappointing. The staff were rude, the bed was unclean, had dark spots on it and was itchy , and the towels were extremely rough. The lack of privacy due to the sheer "curtains" was also a significant issue. The bed was uncomfortable, and I ultimately left after only one night as I felt I had no other choice. It has a great location and the staff did change the sheets after sending them proofs on the spots on the bed. I hope future guests have a better stay.

Really great value of money! You’ll never regret it! Found this hostel with an affordable price through agoda. At first I had my doubt since it’s just a hostel. But truly it’s exceed my expectations: close to the food retails and convenience stores, located in strategic area of Cheonggyecheon, only walking distance to bus stop and subway station, they even close to THE AIRPORT BUS STOP! Check in process is basically easy and unmanned, they will send you confirmation of stay including password and the check in guide to your email. Spacious reception and living room to leave or pack/unpack your luggage. The hostel itself is clean, it is cleaned in daily basis and quite thorough. They will always provide you with 2 small towels everyday. They also provide and refill your water everyday. Although the room is sharing, it’s great because the hostel is pretty strict about being quiet. They provide shampoo, soap, conditioner, and hair dryer as well. If you under pack, you can just do laundry around 10 minutes walking distance. Best deal, best price, best location 👍🏻

Everything is perfect except for the bed that is rock hard. Unfortunately the bed is the most crucial thing for a good sleeping. First night we could barely sleep. Luckily the next day a nice cleaner lady gave us 2 thick blankets to put on the bed that makes our sleeping more bearable. Maybe the owner can invest upper mattress that is softer & thicker to damp the stiffness of the original bed.

This hotel was the best one I have ever stayed while traveling in Seoul. I’ve been here 3 times, and this hotel is the top one! The hotel staff is really friendly and caring, they agreed to check me in earlier than it was supposed. The area around the hotel is very quiet, clean and modern. Definitely recommend it! I will come back soon 🫶🏻

My second time staying with Hostel Haru, very cozy, welcoming, homely place to stay at. Cleanliness is top priority there with daily housekeeping, Highly recommend!

I spent three nights here in a private room||The room and bathroom were nice and clean. It was a small space but big enough for one person to move around in easily ||Nice and close to a train line. The hostel is surrounded by restaurants. ||I stayed here to see the lantern festival so it's nice and close to everything in the center of Seoul. ||I highly recommend staying here.
