Hostel Hospedarte Chapultepec

Nice little hostel in a good area for restaurants and bars. Friendly service. Chill vibes for hanging out. The free continental breakfast was fine (coffee, juice, fruit, cookies, bread) - they also make Mexican breakfast dishes for a fee too as they have a menu. In the evening, they have a little bar with cheap drinks which was great! Loved that the hostel had two resident cats. We had a private room on the roof that was basic (no A/C) and needed a little TLC in the bathroom. Overall, we had a great stay.

Great location right off the main boulevard in Chapultepec. I transferred here after my horrible experience downtown (they own Hospedarte Centro as well). Super chill vibes, they have a rooftop terrace, backyard garden, and a huge front chillout patio with a bar. The beds aren't very comfortable. Service was amazing. Definitely recommend

I went to Guadalajara to explore the city and spend a few quiet days after an intense week in Mexico City. A friend had recommended the hostel to me, and I decided to stay in a private room. I found the hostel to be an oasis of calm and creativity, with the staff being extremely friendly and dedicated to making everyone feel welcome and at ease. They offer plenty of activities during the day and evenings; I especially enjoyed the jamming session on Tuesday. Thanks a lot for having me as a guest, see you next time! :)

You will feel like home!!! .. i went to this place to give a try to hostel i decided to stayed just for 3 days .. After that i went back for a month 😍 You will have everything you need the location is perfect near US Embassy … Many restaurants and bars just 2 blocks away .. Warm water ;) … They provide a simple breakfast … Rooms are very cozy … with individual fan (Keep in kind there is not A/C so in the summer time can be really hot ) The best part is the Patio and 2 cats … Small kitchen you can share with other so i cooked sometimes … The staff were like family very sweet :) Tuesday kareoke nigth was my favorite … During my stayed i had a pain on my back i just walked to the farmacy 3 block away ..i was able to see the Doctor and just gave a me an injection for 8$ That was very cool … Everyone that stayed in this hostel will come back ( I WILL) ❤️ it was such a pleasure to be their guest. im surprised i never really like hostel but now i do because HOSPEDARTE :)

The location is pretty good as your close to nightlife/good restaurants and can be in the historic center by bus in about 20-25min. The rooms had really bad ventilation which led to them being incredibly hot as there is no AC either. The bathrooms were ok but simple. The staff was generally nice. The kitchen was a bit on the dirty side (saw cockroaches, fridge filled to the brim). The breakfast was reeeeally basic, just toast, butter and jam. If you're lucky you'll get some fruits and granola, otherwise just yoghurt.

I love this place . It has a special magic and flavor!! Big thanks to all the staff and lots of love to the cats!

The location is really good, plenty of food and drink options in walking distance. I liked the area! But the hostel could be definitely cleaner, especially the common space. The private room was ok-ish, but in the garden area and common space impossible to stay, full of cat food and smelly old stuff. Breakfast is a joke but didn’t expect much. There is a very nice breakfast place nearby!

Bad: Extremely loud, staff didn't know how to deal with noise complaints, bar staff sang loudly until late, music started early in the morning, staff promised us a quiet room then changed the booking to one of the loudest rooms as was above the bar. Wifi passwords around the hostel are incorrect. Check in didn't cover when breakfast was. Good: friendly people, nice garden

So I have stayed at this location 3 out of the 4 times I have traveled to Gdl. This hostel has a unique vibe that sets it apart from other hostels. The energy that flows through this place garners a sense of community among the guests. I've stayed at other hostels and none have brought everyone together as well as Hospedarte has. The owners and staff are amazing which is one of the greatest assets to this place. This location is nestled in a quiet neighborhood that is only a minute walk to the main Chapultapec avenue. From this spot you can enjoy a relaxing setting yet have easy access to nearby bars, restaurants, clubs and shopping centers. It is father from the historic Centro when compared to their newer downtown location. So if you want more of a city hussle and bussle feel, then book their downtown local. The accommodations are quite comfortable whether you're looking for affordable dorm living or a more private setting. If you do infact get a private room, ask for the one that opens to the terrace. From there you feel like you have a magical rooftop garden all to yourself. They have ample amenities: wifi, laundry, kitchen, showers, etc. What makes them especially unique is their daily activity board which gives everyone an opportunity to get to know Guadalajara in a new fun way each night. The owners and staff know what's up so ask them for ideas and they are willing to help you out. To sum up, you must stay here if you're ever in GDL. You will not regret it!
