The rooms on the rooftop get very hot during the day since there’s no AC. The tequila tour you book from the hostel runs in Spanish which I didn’t expect, so if you don’t speak Spanish well I won’t recommend it. Pub crawl was very fun

I had a fantastic experience at Hospedarte Chapultepec. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with modern touches and thoughtful details that made my stay relaxing. The common areas, including the kitchen and garden, were well-maintained and had a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the Chapultepec neighborhood, close to great restaurants, cafes, and bars, yet still peaceful at night. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to give recommendations or assist with anything I needed. There’s a great social vibe too, perfect for meeting other travelers, but it’s also quiet enough if you’re looking to rest. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Guadalajara. It’s great value for money and truly feels like a home away from home.

This is a great hostel in a safe location near all the action. Breakfast included, although basic. Yoghurt, toast. Granola, coffee and tea. Good vibe place.

I had a comfortable stay. The dorm room was spacious and the shower was great. Garden area was a lot dusty because of the soil ground, but I still appreciate nice hammocks and a lovely cat. Their kitchen wasn't the greatest but I managed to cook something. I hope they are equipped more with basics: knives, a clean cutting board (the one there is so molded, you use you die lol), and some frying pans.

Incredible experience, incredible price. Different than in other hostels the price was spectacular and then I was even more surprised when the help and service was even better!! No extra fees for towels and very helpful, would definitely stay again!!!🤩

Don't be deceived by those reviews, dirty all over, there's no fresh air in the gardens in front and back always the smell of smoke fills the place, with lowest and gloomy type atmosphere is just hurt your soul and your integrity, you've been advised.

Nice little hostel in a good area for restaurants and bars. Friendly service. Chill vibes for hanging out. The free continental breakfast was fine (coffee, juice, fruit, cookies, bread) - they also make Mexican breakfast dishes for a fee too as they have a menu. In the evening, they have a little bar with cheap drinks which was great! Loved that the hostel had two resident cats. We had a private room on the roof that was basic (no A/C) and needed a little TLC in the bathroom. Overall, we had a great stay.

I went to Guadalajara to explore the city and spend a few quiet days after an intense week in Mexico City. A friend had recommended the hostel to me, and I decided to stay in a private room. I found the hostel to be an oasis of calm and creativity, with the staff being extremely friendly and dedicated to making everyone feel welcome and at ease. They offer plenty of activities during the day and evenings; I especially enjoyed the jamming session on Tuesday. Thanks a lot for having me as a guest, see you next time! :)

Yelp
So I have stayed at this location 3 out of the 4 times I have traveled to Gdl. This hostel has a unique vibe that sets it apart from other hostels. The energy that flows through this place garners a sense of community among the guests. I've stayed at other hostels and none have brought everyone together as well as Hospedarte has. The owners and staff are amazing which is one of the greatest assets to this place. This location is nestled in a quiet neighborhood that is only a minute walk to the main Chapultapec avenue. From this spot you can enjoy a relaxing setting yet have easy access to nearby bars, restaurants, clubs and shopping centers. It is father from the historic Centro when compared to their newer downtown location. So if you want more of a city hussle and bussle feel, then book their downtown local. The accommodations are quite comfortable whether you're looking for affordable dorm living or a more private setting. If you do infact get a private room, ask for the one that opens to the terrace. From there you feel like you have a magical rooftop garden all to yourself. They have ample amenities: wifi, laundry, kitchen, showers, etc. What makes them especially unique is their daily activity board which gives everyone an opportunity to get to know Guadalajara in a new fun way each night. The owners and staff know what's up so ask them for ideas and they are willing to help you out. To sum up, you must stay here if you're ever in GDL. You will not regret it!
