Firstly, the price advertised on Hostelworld differed from the price upon arrival due to the daily exchange rate used, resulting in an unexpected £11 charge. I also overheard this happening to other guests, suggesting this may be a common occurrence.
The accommodation was overpriced for its condition. The kitchen was not consistently clean, and the cookware was in poor condition. There was often a shortage of dishes, and those available were old.
The bathrooms also lacked cleanliness and were outdated. The shower temperature fluctuated between extremely hot and lukewarm.
The duvets were unpleasant to the touch and appeared old. The building's echo made it difficult to sleep due to noise from doors and toilets.
Finally, a significant portion of the staff were unhelpful and impolite. If comparable hostels in the area were available, we would not return; however, the high cost of accommodation in Patagonia limited our options.
