Hostel Inn Bairro Alto

Cosy, clean, ideally located… I don’t think I could’ve asked for more, but then I got it anyway ✨ The customer service was so great—from helping me correct a booking date, to fast &helpful communication, down to the little gifts upon entering the room—I was so happy with the stay experience here! I will definitely book again, and would recommend it to visitors passing through Lisbon

Great location and quiet. We had a large room for two people! The bed was comfortable. There was no AC, but there was a fan in the room which was great. Rita and Sophie were kind and helpful! I would stay here again.

I had to change my flight and request to cancel the reservation in advance, they did not refund even 1 cent. The place is run by people that instead of reflexing about bad reviews, reply with insulting nonsense. When someone takes the time to write a review, is because it is deserved. Is better idea to understand this.

Perfect stay in Bairro Alto! had a 3 night stay this past May. The room was spacious, clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect location, great for solo travelers, the bathroom was clean and the room was great as well. The only complaint would be the heat, having a fan in the rooms would help a lot, but it was manageable with the window

We spent two nights. Our first night the room was nice, the bed was good, but the room smelled of mildew. We asked to change, but nothing was available until the next day. Our 2nd room was smaller, which was no problem, but the bed was not as comfortable, and the noise from the shared bathrooms outside our door made for an earlier morning than we would have liked. We would not be likely to stay again.

"highly accessible, and cost-effective hotel" The biggest advantage is that the staff was very friendly, so it was my first trip, but I had no difficulties. This left a good impression on Portugal. As for the condition of the accommodation, I stayed in a small room, so it wasn't as good or as clean as the picture, but it felt cozy. There were quite a few traces of old buildings, but I kept them clean every day. Especially the bed is nice and clean. The breakfast was very healthy and delicious.

The location actually ended up being fabulous. There's a grocery store nearby with great prices as well as bakeries and restaurants Close to the Metro.
