The hostel owner was so kind and accommodating, and the hostel itself is a lovely, quaint, and homey place. They can also only accommodate 12 people (which is a plus for me). The rooms are also always kept clean. There is air conditioning in each bedroom. The kitchen is complete with utensils and cookware. Self check-in is possible if you arrive in between normal check-in hours. I also love the fact that it's within the city center/promenade (so, shops, grocery stores, the public market, the mall, restaurants, and cafés are just within reach). It's also a few minutes away from the harbour and 30 minutes away from the beaches.

The host here was very kind and the room was very comfortable. The bathroom was also a lot better than I have seen across Europe so far with a real shower door so the bathroom stays dry. The hostel is small and family run and great value for money. The day that we were staying there was a huge football party on the streets below in front of the hostel however the shutters and blinds did a great job at blocking out the light and noise. My favourite hostel yet, would recommend to anyone trying to take a break from the all too common party hostels and get a good sleep.

Since i'm travelling in Europe, this is my fav hostel so far. The owner is very kind, and very accomadating : I kept the keys until 3pm during my check - out day. It's mostly an appartement with 12 beds in total. both rooms are spacious and the bed are actually very comfy. It's old style bunkbed but the owner installed small light and lot of electric plug for each bed. You also have locker for each person. You also have 2 bathrooms, one for male and one for female, so yes sometimes you wait a bit for going to the toilet. You also have a real kitchen for cooking. Yes, the bar outside is so noisy but with window closed and ear plug you can survive (and i'm a sensitive sleepeer). I felt very safe as a woman. Totally recommand it !

We arrived and check in wasn’t great. The receptionist seemed friendly enough but couldn’t really understand us. The hostel from the moment we walked in was so old fashioned. It also didn’t seem very clean. We were given 3 sets of keys for the front door and the locker. The room was alright and the beds were comfy but my light for my bed was melted and disgusting and i got a sense it wasn’t very clean. The lockers were big and spacious! The bathroom was very old fashioned also as you had a key to lock the bathroom door which was quite odd but not a concern. The shower was awful. The shower head didn’t have a mount so you needed to shower and hold it at the same time which was annoying. Not as annoying as the freezing cold water that I needed to shower with. Also the drain didn’t work so all the water was just collecting at the bottom. Not ideal. The kitchen was good. It had an oven, a kettle, a hob and free tea and coffee. On our last day we realised that the bin had not been emptied in our room for the entirety of our stay so there was no housekeeping! The location was good. It was right on the main street so all the shops were right there if you need them. The beach was a 30 minute walk away. Overall I wouldn’t recommend and would not return due to everything I’ve said.

Very nice little Hostel that offers the very basic things. Beds are a bit outdated and the men's bathroom is very small but the price and location make up for it. The host is super friendly and speaks German fluently. It was no problem to leave the luggage in the hostel for a full day after checking out. The kitchen is big and has all needed amenities - including tea and coffee. Definitely recommended!

Our stay in this hostel was really nice. The owner and his wife are really welcoming and helpfull. As 2 girls, we feel safe in this hostel. They change towels every two days, it was really clean. It's in the main street of Rijeka, very lively, lots of restaurants, shops for necessities, money exchange.

Great little place in the midst of all the action in Rijeka. 12 beds, if you smoke, ask for room two, if not, ask for room one. Quite and cozy, just be respectful and clean up after yourself. Great locstion would recommend! 👌

I stayed 3 nights and was very satisfied with my stay. This hostel is small, and feels very homely thanks to the lovely owners and staff. There's a well equipped kitchen, big rooms, hot and high pressure showers and everything is VERY clean. I didn't have any problems, but if I did the staff and nye every morning if we slept well, if everything was okay ect. so there's definitely a lot of care for all the guests. The location is also fantastic, walkable to the beaches, castle and bars/cafés/supermarkets. Thanks Hostel Korzo.
