Dear Booking / Hostelworld Support Team,
I am writing to request the immediate refund of my reservation at [property name] in St. Julian’s, Malta.
Due to unacceptable sanitary conditions, it is impossible for me to stay at this accommodation. The place is in a deplorable state, representing a risk to my physical and mental health.
I am attaching photos that clearly show the real situation.
In addition, the property manager, Ms. Paulina, called me and referred to me as “crazy”, without even knowing me, which I consider disrespectful and discriminatory behavior.
This situation has severely affected my well-being and worsened my anxiety condition, making it absolutely impossible to remain there.
Furthermore, according to the booking terms, if the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before arrival, only the first night’s stay may be charged. However, I was charged the full amount before my arrival, even though it was clearly stated that the remaining balance should be paid in cash upon arrival.
This represents a violation of the booking terms and conditions.
This money is the only amount I have for accommodation or to leave the island, so I urgently request a full refund of my booking.
