Really good hostel. Since the new owners moved in, in december 2024, the place has gotten much better and more beautiful. The owners are kind and can advise you well to find what you’re looking for, whether it’s beaches, bus, parks, etc. We were surrounded by nature at this hostel with beautiful trees, plants, kind animals like monkeys, cats, and macaws, and a path with a view on the ocean. It’s cheap and comfy! I recommend for sure!

This hostel was amazing! Sebastian, Mike and Jimena were so accommodating and kind. They provided us with so many recommendations, answered all of our questions, and felt like true friends (English and Spanish fluent!) The hostel has a pool table, tv, a rly nice kitchen, and a hammock to lounge in! Great location to catch the bus into the national park, it’s also right next to multiple grocery stores. Nearby there is a restaurant/community center whose music is a little loud only on weekends. Also, google maps hasn’t updated yet - there is no outdoor pool or free breakfast. But its so worth it for the location and people - def stay here!!

Found this hostel last-minute, was happy to find a room, and SO glad we did. The owner just bought this place a couple weeks ago and they were not hesitating to start putting work in, as they had found it in rough shape. The staff and volunteers are hard at work keeping things clean, making repairs, painting, and providing top-notch hospitality. I have no doubts that the owner's vision for this hostel will pan out soon and be the best they can be. We stayed 4 nights and it felt like home. Right off the common area I saw toucans, monkeys, macaws, and iguanas. Location is great, near restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast is included but minimal: bread, fruit, coffee. Wifi works but is not strong. Bathrooms clean with hot water. Multiple fans in each bedroom. As more work is done and more rooms/beds become available, this place will have a great community feel.

Good hostel. The location is great, right across from the bus stop, a supermarket, and several restaurants. 5 minute walk from lots of souvenir shops, and a taxi stop as well. There is a pool with a really nice view. The kitchen was not very clean (it is outdoors), but the rooms and bathroom were very clean and good quality for the price. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating; they held all of my stuff for an extra day after I had checked out so I wouldn’t have to carry it around. One downside is that I woke up with mosquito bites, but other than that I highly recommend.

Had okayish experience staying at this hostel Pros 1. Location is good - supermarkets , restaurants and bus stop very close by 2. Kitchen is big with commercial gas stovetops (appartently its faster to cook) and plently of kitchen tools. ** But they don't stock up on basic supplies like oil , salt and spices. Cons 1. Rooms are very basic with aboslutely no ventilation. It feels stuffy inside the dorms even with two fans. This was in Apr 2024. It was very hot. 2. Beds definitely need a change , they have craters in the center , make lot of noise and not good at all. 3. Reception desk was active for only couple of hours a day

No free breakfast. Cold showers and no air conditioning. The staff are super lost. Rooms are fine and have lockers. Wifi is good. Hard to find reception from the street as you have to walk down a flight of steps. No sofa in seating / common area. They do have a pool table. The kitchen is very basic, only a fridge no freezer which is locked at night.

The serene and tranquil setting of the private dorms makes for an amazing night and good morning wake up to the sound of birds. Sloths are also easily spotted from the private dorms.||Great staff, and breakfast included in price. A fantastic bar area located near the swimming pool. ||Location is also fantastic as it is close to amenities and not too far from the beach. Parking is also available. ||I will definitely visit again!

Its a very nice Hostel. The Dorms and the bathrooms are clean. It was a bit hot in the night because they dont have air conditioner. The staff there is very friendly and helpful! The pancake breakfast in the morning is included in the price. The pancakes are good but pancakes every morning are after some days boring. The Hostel has also a Pool, but the water is not very refreshing. The Pool is very small and as hot as a whirlpool. You better spend the time at the beautiful beaches in Manuel Antonio. But all in all it is a nice Hostel and for the price its Worth it to go there.
