Hostel Mare

Very good service! Our bus had a delay and we were late for the check in however after some phone calls we were able to still check in. Service is to the point and direct which is the way i prefer it. Rooms were clean and tidy Shower and toilet is clean Price is very fair. Would recommend 5/5

This hostel is run by a lovely local couple who really make your stay welcome. My roommate was ill and the owner made sure she checked up on him every now and then to make sure he was okay. Their friendliness and hospitality has made the hostel all the more enjoyable. ||||The rooms are clean, simple and comfortable. There is no kitchen which was okay for me because there are cheap local restaurants and cafes just opposite as you walk out the hostel. There is a nice place to chill in the lobby and outside but no large common room or designated social area. ||||This was okay because the location is FANTASTIC. You are right on the edge of the old town and you can step out and have an explore whenever you like, go back to the hostel to chill for an hour, then go back out. That was a real perk for me. ||||The atmosphere and vibe is chilled, homely and social but not party. I made lots of friends here, going on day trips and for dinner with whoever I met in the hostel. It always seemed busy here which was really nice, but people were also considerate if you wanted to sleep. Perfect balance.||||This hostel has really made my experience here fantastic; Šibenik will remain a very special place to me. It’s a truly exquisite town and a great hostel.

I have really enjoyed my stay here, the town is a wonderfully place to be and comes to live at night offering you many places to go and grab a drink. The hostel owners are friendly and welcoming people, this place was a small home away from home for the 3 days I was there. I was traveling on a motorcycle and I could park it across the street from the hotel no problem! (not indoors)

What to say other than that I had an amazing stay at Hostel Mare!||||The hostel is super well set up, with a very chill, artsy, and green outdoor courtyard and garden. It's close by everything you could need, from shops, to the center, and attractions a little further out.||||The owners truly go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are full of great recommendations to really make the most of out of your time in Šibenik, whatever it is that you're into.||||A big thanks again and looking forward to staying again the next time I find myself in Šibenik!

I love this city, so I choosed carefully where should I stay. I went through Trip Advisor reviews and decided to go here and was pretty much satisfied. The room was splendid, everything was cleaned and was on the spot. Helpful staff, modern rooms and hallways, and the place is attractive from the outside, and great location right near the center of the city.

The first notable thing about this hostel is that is really clean! And the hosts are always welcoming and willing to help. They treat the tourists with respect, and always give short introduction and tips about the city, places in the city, attractive locations around the city. Near to the national park Krka,Shibenik is a really, they also have better prices then the competition

Stayed here for two nights, the hostel was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond for me! The rooms were amazing and the air conditioning was great! Would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in sibenik.

I confirmed my booking 5 months before my date of arrival. On the day I’m supposed to show up, Hostel Mare tried to contact me at noon. I could not answer because I didn’t have reception, and at 1230 they told me my room was sold to someone else. Outside of doing poor business, their customer service was extremely rude. They told me to not “not be a cheap American and get a SIM card for my phone” and to “shut my mouth” when explaining I had a room booked. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I would not recommend anyone stay here.
