Hostel Meyerbeer Beach

I've book a private apartment at 4° floor. Apartment is very nice, clean and with air conditioning. The flat is 300m near the promenade d'anglais and 10 minute by walk to the city center. Difficult if you need to park car. Suggested

Fantastic hostel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is unmatched. The rooms are definitely above average for hostel dorms. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in the area. However it is not the most social hostel if that's what you are looking for.

Deserves a 4.5, location and price are great. Rooms are fine but shower is tiny and water temperature is not constant. Can only take card payments in the morning? Slightly odd but would likely stay again.

I wish I could give a zero but I know my blog will say it all. You know where it is! I moved out of the hostel as I personally thought it was a small room for so many people (8) and this is the response I received from a very unprofessional man named Stefano. Just to be clear, I wasn’t going to post any review but his email to me deserves a bad review. My email: I have unfortunately checked out of the hostel as I’m not happy with the dormitory. I didn’t think it was such a small space for so many people. I would like to know if I can get my 2 nights (2-3 May) back and I shall pay for the first night. I will come back to the hostel tomorrow to have a quick chat if needed. I’ve had to book a hotel nearby for my stay instead. Stefano’s last words on his passive aggressive email: … even if you have caused us inconvenience due to what seems your lack of experience back packing in hostels. What an unprofessional man who clearly needs a new job which doesn’t involve conversing with other humans. Read more soon!

The staff are very attentive, they care about safety a lot. The atmosphere was great, I made friends in no time. The kitchen is complete but it closes in the middle of the day which can be inconvenient. Other than that, great stay, I would be back.

Overall pretty good. Had my own room for 2 nights despite booking a 10 person dorm, so I'm not complaining. I liked the fridge in the room, though communal soap and more clothes hanging space would have been nice to have.

We had a wonderful time here at Meyerbeer. The staff were wonderful, and were so helpful when I mixed up my booking. The hostel was lovely and comfortable and clean. Breakfast was basic nice. Location excellent, so close to the beach and to shops etc. This hostel even had beach towels and beach umbrellas you could borrow, at no cost. Beds comfortable, rooms with air conditioning. Highly recommended.

Very relaxed and chill hostel. The staff is very friendly and very helpful with what to do. The rooms are clean but are very small. You get a free towel and a fridge in every room. The nightlife is not to fun and there is people of all ages here so it is harder to meet people. Overall a good place to stay if your looking for a very relaxed time.
