Probably one of the best hostels ever not gonna lie. Imagine a big old traditional Bulgarian house in the heart of Turnovo turned into a hostel. Everyone was friendly, the owner is also nice. One little bit of a negative is that the floors and beds are a bit squeaky and they make noise when you move/walk, which is not nice when people are sleeping, but its not really that big of an issue, id go back many times and always recommend the place. Also the prices are great.

Amazing place to stay, very affordable and cozy, loved the atmosphere, the location was perfect for tourist activities, the staff was so nice and helpful, everything was very easy and perfect, I have no complains! Loved it and will definitely come back!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. If going to Sofia or Bucharest, Veliko Tarnovo is a great place to rest. Don’t just stay one night! There is plenty to explore. Brettandbear on all socials approves. The manager is a cat by the way.

I went to veliko turnovo for 2 days by myslef . I stayed in this hostel and I was so happy because they gave me food for free. Every day at 7pm they share food with their guest. Besides, the facilities are great. Bathrooms work perfectly, there is a big common room were you can chill out, sit or lay down in the floor and listen music, be on your computer or just share with others. The rooms were clean and spacious. The place is located 20 min walking from the center. But very close to the castle ! I totally recommend this place . All the best and good luck folks !

We had such an amazing stay at this hostel – we honestly can’t thank the staff enough. After a really disappointing experience at a previous hostel, we were so relieved to find this place. The team went above and beyond by letting us stay an extra night at very short notice! The whole place was clean, cozy, and had such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The staff – both permanent and volunteer – were genuinely some of the loveliest people we’ve met on our travels. Super helpful, friendly, and always up for a chat or a recommendation. And we have to mention the hostel cat – the sweetest breakfast companion you could ask for. Highly recommend staying here!

The owner is super nice! Environment is clean and tidy. We can lay on the cushions and chat. For sure the Cat Mama is the best!

Nice little hostel with friendly and helpful staff - and the cutest cat! The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen were all clean. I stayed there for two nights and the only small complaint was the squeaky and springy beds. It may not be great if you're allergic to cats tho. The cat will walk around the hostel and may even get into the rooms and sleep in your bed with you.

positive: chill little hostel in a beautiful old house with nice, common areas and a kitchen to use. tap water is potable. shower was hot with good water pressure. wifi worked well. camping is possible. friendly, helpful volunteer was around. easy walking distance to all the interesting parts of town. south bus station (Автогара Юг) about 30min walking distance (bus connection to Ruse with Union Ivkoni at 9:30am). would definitely recommend to the uncomplicated travelers. negative: the wooden floor and the door in the 10-person dormitory made noise, even when trying to be as quiet as possible.
