Hostel Petra Marina

The bed with the curtain gives you privacy. Light provided inside the bed. With AC. Very spacious in a 4 bed mixed dorm. The individual locker is big for storage large luggage and hangers are provided. Cam hangs the laundry outside the balcony. It dries overnight. Location is good. 5 mins walk from the port. 1 local bus stop to the bus terminal or 13 mins walk. I use my 2 day Dubrovnik pass to have free bus ride to go to bus terminal. It's value for money.

The shower was very small. The breakfast was acceptable. The location was pretty good. The young guy at the front desk was always rude, but the girl was always polite.

Clean rooms, showers and wc. Modern beds with curtains, clean bedclothes, plugs and a mini lamp. Also a towel is provided which I appreciate. AC (needed during summer). And such a nice balcony with amazing views. It was perfect.

Good hostel overall. The location is excellent, right near the port, which is really convenient if you’re taking the ferry (highly recommend at least for Mljet). The staff is also amazing.

I stayed at this hostel for 3 days but was quite happy to leave it behind. The welcome was extremely cold and didn't get much better after that. I felt most of the staff were not at all happy to be there. I feel like this had an impact on the social aspect of the hostel, which I felt to be lacking. The facilities were there to mix and mingle, but most people seem to keep to themselves. The beds were comfortable, I will give them that! And there was several power connections available for each bed and space for storage in the cabin. Lockers were also good sized. The cabins for sure should have curtains instead of blinds as they were quite flimsy and extremely loud to open if you had to get up in the night and disturb others by doing so. The cleanliness could be greatly improved for the bathrooms and the kitchen area. A lot of people didn't seem to clean up after themselves and that's not the hostels fault, but nothing was ever said about it. Shower cabins are in desperate need of a deep clean as they were mouldy and the drains were quite stinky. Water temperature was also all over the place which made it quite difficult to have a decent shower. For the price I think you can find better elsewhere.

Not the cleanest, social and safest place to stay for the price asked. Pro’s: Convenient for ferry and bus station and the pods itself are modern

Very clean rooms. Great balcony. Everyone is nice and respectful. Place is secure.

Very modern hostel with lovely view over the harbour, short walk form bus station, and great bus connection to the old town. I really liked their terrace and room set up. Sleeping pod was great and very spacious. The only downside were the blinds - I think curtains would work much better. Staff was a little cold, especially when I was checking in. Showers were either a little mouldy or badly constucted - but served their purpose. I would stay again if lucky enough to return to Dubrovnik.
