We had a fabulous view of the Adriatic from our room and deck. The room was average but clean but the view made up for it. The breakfast was good with a nice view of the Adriatic. Internet computers were always available. Everyone was courteous. We would stay there again. We also reserved parking directly across the street, at a small additional charge, which made it easy to access the hotel, although we did not need it in town. Very charming and enjoyable town and hotel. Food on adjacent seaside prominade was excellent.|

This hotel has a wonderful location and is one of those hotels that if you want to have a memorable experience, stay in one of the more expensive rooms. We were there for 3 nights and I booked one of the suites. It was fabulous. It was room 126, had a living room, large bedroom, good size bathroom, and a HUGE deck with a unbelievable view of the sea. It was very clean, updated furnishings and very comfortable. I wasn't too impressed with the breakfast room as it seemed crowded and the view was better off our deck. We ate in the restaurant at the hotel one night and the food was pretty good. ||We also prebooked parking at the hotel which is a must. They only have about 6 spaces, but it is right across from the front of the hotel and I think it cost us 3-5 Euros a night. There is basically no parking in Piran except at public lots which are quite a distance from the hotel. ||Piran is a good place to have has a base. We spent one day and went to the Postojma Caves which were incredible. The Predjama Castle was also worth seeing. Portorosa was a nearby town that was a great beach town with bigger fancier hotels, but we preferred staying in Piran. Restaurants in Portorosa were better, however.||We would definitely stay at the Hotel Piran again if we could get room 126 again.|

Lovely host and a big plus for the cute little dog they have. Very clean and tidy. A quite cramped, old house with lots of stairs (which is what to expect from the old town area)❤️. The double bed room was bright and fairly spacious, it had a fan, a comfy bed and it was possible to dry clothes at the window. The kitchen was old and easily crowded sometimes, but pretty well equipped. Although, there was very little space in the fridge. The bathrooms were fresh and relatively recently renovated. Close to several nice spots for swimming, a relatively big Mercator store, market, restaurants and the tourist information.

Enjoyed our one night stay at the hotel. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the view of the Adriatic and Croatia in the distance was perfect. The breakfast room can be very hectic especially with the weekend bus tour groups. Usually after 0800 it quiets down. The staff were very helpful and we were lucky enough to get a free parking spot across the street from the hotel. The summer high season may not be a time to visit this beautiful location. Specify that you want a room with a water view or you will be looking out over the street.|

We stayed there 2 nights. They could not offer us the 2 nights in the same rooms, and didn't offer us on their own initiative a better price because we needed to change the room, shame... In both rooms, the mattresses were too old, we could feel the spring of the mattress. The bedding was dirty and stained. The hostel was also very loudly because of the very poor isolation between the rooms and the corridor.

This is a very comfortable hotel located right on the seaside promenade of charming Piran. The superior rooms are spacious and well appointed. A very generous breakfast is served on the fourth floor in a room with a sweeping view of the port and town of Piran. There is no parking to be had in Piran if you are a tourist so plan on either a 10 minute walk fromt he large lots on the edge of town or catching one of the shuttles than run back and forth about every 30 minutes.|

Very nice and cozy hostel with authentic old look, hidden in small streets. The reception from Petra was great, very friendly lady who explained everything you want to know in town. Good info and she makes awesome Slovenian coffee! Good price and quality, and in the center of Piran!

Did not stay at hotel, only ate on the terrace overlooking the Adriatic outside. We expected a mediocre experience but were instead totally surprised by the quality the kitchen brought forth: risotto with cuttlefish; risotto with artichokes, grilled sardines, fresh green salad, fried calamari... top notch all the way through. The waiter was great too.. a tired George Clooney lookalike. Hard to believe there is better food in town.
